Tesalong. $50 on Amazon. Does pretty well...

I found you still have to scrub, just less. That said, I've yet to lead a Benelli bore to the point patterns suffer. Also, I find low recoil slugs, say, under 1300fps actual MV, lead far far less than 1400+ actual MV slugs. Wayyyy less. Truball is the worst, due to it being kinda hot, as well as the polymer ball jamming the skirts into the bore.

Ive owned 10ish of these over the years, in various models. The last few years (bought this one in 2018ish) have been extremely busy for me, personally, and ammo has been annoying to source. I mostly shoot buck and slug. Not really into birdshot.
-
I know this was annoying personally, but on a macroscale, maybe it points to somewhat of a return to market baseline.

Take them apart per field strip. Add the extra step of removing the action spring from the recoil tube, and the chromed plunger piece or whatever it's called that also lives there. Lube all sliding parts well. Very well. Best case is a very light, non-temp sensitive grease. Examples are Forward Controls or Cherry Balmz grease. Barring this, use a heavy lube like Lucas Extreme Gun Oil. Reassemble. Go shoot. Ive literally never had to use the goose loads to get a properly manufactured M4 shotgun to function when correctly lubed.

You should see longer battery life. Also yes, nonlithiums will kill expensive kit dead, fast. In the night vision world, we cringe over alkaline use. Typical alkaline AAA have 1150mah capacity, while L92 Energizer has 1250mah. So a hair less than 10% more run time, by the math.

This could be assembly. Id be fine with it. Means someone made sure it fit. Also, test firing.
-
This is why nothing touches the barrel, IMO. other than minimum necessary (hangers/cap/handguards).
-
Next question is...what are you lubing it with? I lube mine with a very light grease like FCD Snake Oil, and lay it on heavy like it were an M4 5.56 carbine. That's what it likes.

Carrier needs replaced, or that part filed down. Ideally, replaced, functionally, filed down.

How much for the tube only?

Everything I do is latley. Pull-ups and hangs are life.

I've always been able to reach Benelli and receive good information. When did you call them last? -

Do you know if the bolt was the issue ? Or is it the cam track in the carrier? -
I ordered my 11724, and requested that my dealer inspect it before shipping for off-tint ano, and crooked recoil tubes. Mind you, these are FACTORY C-stock LE guns, Form 4, to boot. He inspected a couple and was astounded that the one he initially had picked for me before I asked him to inspect, was indeed crooked. The one he sent me, I just did a cursory inspection of, and the only flaw I could find is the rear ghost ring is dinged. NOT the ears. NOTHING else on the gun, JUST the ghost ring. I think it must have happened prior to install on the weapon. Anyway, overall, looked good to me. I think we are just seeing normal disruption for an industry during COVID, really, and not nearly as bad as some. You won't find a company immune.

Off topic a bit, but a friend of mine's wife had a v6 Mustang, 2017-18? Anyway, they hated the car, but I drove it and it INSTANTLY reminded me of my 1988 mustang 5.0. Instantly. It just "felt familiar". I was and am still amazed that Ford captured that through the decades and retained it, even though this was a V6 with IRS and all sorts of differences.

Oh wow...I posted this without seeing. OP, your carrier has a problem as I initially proposed to you in your other thread, likely. The cam-pin track is off in some manner. less likely, the cam-pin hole in the bolt is drilled off-axis. Either way, your "repaired" bolt is a bunch of bullshit and Benelli needs to send you a new bolt/carrier combo. That is the only acceptable resolution to this. To make sure the correct replacement is made, please try your M1014 BOLT in your malfunctioning gun's CARRIER, and see if the issue is solely the bolt, or solely the carrier. Then you can ask Benelli for the CORRECT action. barring their helping you, at least you know what to buy on your own, but Benelli should indeed offer to make good, here. -

OP, if you don't mind, please do the following: Swap bolts and carriers with your M1014 which works fine. See if the M1014 bolt/carrier has issues in this gun. Next, swap the barrel, and see if the M1014 barrel, bolt, and carrier, work find in this receiver. This will tell you if it's the barrel, the bolt/carrier, or the receiver. That will give us/you more data to go on in resolving and understanding this issue. -
