Correct. What occured was the nut you see when you take the buttpad off? Yeah, that came off easily. The problem was that those washers and that T-shaped metal piece and the sling loop are all glued togather on that 2-sided bolt. Benelli said a heatgun would do it, but It didn't cut it for me, and I heated it up pretty hardcore. I would be scared to do more than I did. As it was it was literally smoking. Man that stock is wicked durable!

Check out Pelican or Blackhawk for a good case, and look up your local wal-mart for the clays.
-
Obviously you are a liar. Everyone knows that Benellis are completely un-managable, even with #8 low-brass target loads Seriously though, it's nice to see another person who loves their weapon and doesn't complain about a little shove!
-
I did not. If you want to see if you WILL, try to remove your stock sling loop, if it is not glued in, then it should work. If it IS glued in, good luck! I heat-gunned it so hardcore the CLP smoked off. Nothing. I just returned mine to Ron, who by the way, above and completely beyond standard customer service, sent me a Mesa Tactical 6-round reciever mount shell holder in exchange for my return and a $50 check. He sent it today, the same day I sent my return to him, so that I can have my setup togather for the weekend. As a Clinicals student, my weekends are all I have, and only a little bit then. I appreciate putting his going against the industry norm and putting product and $ on the line for a customer when he obviously does not have to in the least. This action has ensured that if I ever need anything he can get, I will get it from him. I will advise everyone I know to do the same. Hands down, order your stuff from Ron. He will go above and beyond and you will not be dissapointed. Even if you can get it $5 cheaper elsewhere, go with Ron @ www.tacticalshotgunner.com . There are some things worth spending $5-10 more for, and EXCELLENT CS is one of them.

Not a problem at all. I feel that if someone treats a customer with the attention and respect that I was treated with when I phoned you for help/inquiry as to my problem, then the rest of the people out there should hear about it. Not only does it put the money in deserving hands, but it helps those who spend that money get what they pay for. Everybody wins. I too think Benelli may have started this up recently (or does it sporadically). Either way, it is going to pry another $50 out of my wallet, but I think I will be all the happier for it. PM sent, and will call you tomorrow.

Scenario: Guy busts into my friends place and gets shot rightfully so. Friend quickly installs mag plug as insurance against lawsuite/whatnot based on 922r. Problem solved (or is it, was the ? ) Of I guess my friend could quickly change mag tubes or something.
-
Hrmmm...would installing a magazine limiter be a way to get around 922r when one felt like it?
-
My solution to the need of buttstock mounted ammunition: I think it looks tasteful. Black Neoprene. Feels good on the cheek too!

I gave up, Benelli told Ron of Tacticalshotgunner.com that it was glued in there. They advised that heating it with "A strong hair-dryer" would cause the adhesive to release. They said the stock could take A LOT! of heat (and it can!). I heated the thing up until the CLP smoked off. No loosening. I decided discretion was the better part of valor. TAKE NOTE! MESA TACTICAL BUTTSTOCK SHELL-HOLDERS WILL NOT WORK ON AN M4! Ron has been a stand-up guy in his dealings with me on the purchase of this item. I am (regrettably) going to have to ship it back to him sometime this week as I cannot make it work. Props to Ron for calling Benelli for me as well as offering me either my money back, or store credit. While I cannot recommend this product for M4 owners, I can recommend Ron as a dealer. Good people.

How do I do this? I got the acorn nut off, now what? THere is a T-shaped piece of metal with washers under it that is preventing the main screw from coming out.
-
I'm not scared, my friend is worried What if he shot someone during a B&E (justified use of deadly force) and they found he was in violation of 922r? Has a 922r non-compliant weapon ever been used like such and caused grief for it's owner?
-
So...should I tell my friend that his M4 needs to be modified back to stock? He is kindof concerned...
-
When you chamber that first round, do you baby the bolt foreward, or do you rip it back and let her fly like you should?
-
Just what it says. I am tired of reading: "M4's with a full-length mag and a PG stock are illegal." "no they aren't as long as the tube is US made." "yes they are." Which is it guys? Can you, or can you not install a 7 round tube on an M4 with a pistol grip stock? Does it have to be a U.S. made tube? The way I understand it is that it is legal as long as..."The weapon is not assymbled from imported parts". Since the tube is US and not imported...legal due to wording. Or...it has been changed in configuration and still has more than 10 imported parts so...NOT legal. However, I am sure this has been put to bed long before now, I just cannot find that concrete answer. Please KISS and thanks!

Normal, due to some interaction with the carrier or whatnot. I am sure someone here knows EXACTLY what's up and can explain better. Instead of forcing it at this point, pull back that 1/10th inch of slack you have and let go. It will fall nicely into battery. Normal.

Happy to help, FYI, Winchester PP's seem a HAIR more accurate, but remington sluggers seem to leave less lead in my barrel.
-
Okay, we have gone from: "Anyone in a relationship, tell me what your partner likes" to: "Any guy in a relationship with a girl, tell me what she likes." See what I mean? YOU need to shoot YOUR shotgun. Brenneke Black Magic Remington Slugger Winchester Power Point Federal Tru Ball These are a good starting place.

M4=MOD choke stock.
-
It is normal for a Benelli to hang up when cycled by hand with no shells if you are just pulling the bolt back and forth. I bet it won't hang up the FIRST time you pull it back and ease it foreward after dry-firing. Then subsequent times if you do not pull the trigger, it will hang up when you do this gently. Normal. Call Benelli and ask about the first shot jam.
-
Yes, it is the same and should work on any PG Benelli buttstock. I will let you know when it arrives. 3-point sling: http://www.spectergear.com/carryoptions.htm

This won't help you, every shotgun is different.

"A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity."-Freud "Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest. If we want the Arms Act to be repealed, if we want to learn the use of arms, here is a golden opportunity. If the middle classes render voluntary help to Government in the hour of its trial, distrust will disappear, and the ban on possessing arms will be withdrawn."-Ghandi "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the people's liberty teeth keystone... the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable... more than 99% of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. When firearms go, all goes, we need them every hour."-George Washington in his address to 1st session of Congress. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."-Thomas Jefferson "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"- Thomas Jefferson "Those now possessing weapons and ammunition are at once to turn them over to the local police authority. Firearms and ammunition found in a Jew's possession will be forfeited to the government without compensation Whoever willfully or negligently violates the provisions will be punished with imprisonment and a fine.
