  1. You dont. Same spring.
  2. Well if the barrel being fouled is the fear, this implies it wasn't taken down for cleaning...? What optic and what attachment method?
  3. Here is Benelli's official answer...and I kindof don't agree, rofl! Oh sweet lord. This is what Benelli CS had to say when I asked the same question....
  4. ...or you can make your AR like your Benelli... http://www.elftactical.com/ar-15-ar-10-ambidextrous-speed-safety-push-button
  5. Mid-way down the page, you find your answer: http://forums.brianenos.com/index.php?/topic/238888-opinions-on-benelli-barrel-throating/ Problem: Insight: Solution: That is the reason for the V-cut. It allows the lifter to be perfectly straight (simpler/easier to make en mass) and PRECISELY lifts the shell JUST the right amount, since the shell has a round rim, and it should be obvious what a well-measured and placed V-cut will do regarding this operation, given the round rim it will interface with. In short, I have deduced that Benelli chose to make a V-cut that can be easily and precisely replicated en mass, vs die forming the lifters very precisely on the end, which likely would result in a higher rate of failures as tolerances waver over time with something like that much moreso than they would the V-cut. If anyone has a better idea, I'd be more than open to it! *If you read further, the OP changed other things and got the gun running again. I still think the observations on lifter profile are accurate.
  6. How much chasing do you do?
  7. The rail is the mount. Aimpoint t2 only. Maybe t1, but not 100% sure.
  8. This poll applies to all the super 90 series, with a special focus on the m4. After zeroing with slugs, if you take the weapon down to clean it, and then shoot slugs (the same brand, load, etc obviously) as before, have you noticed a zero shift? For the sake of argument, since this is not a scalpel, I consider a zero shift as greater than 1.5" at 25 yards, extrapolated further in a linear fashion.
  9. Not that I am aware of. However, noone complained of the Design Concepts CH breaking either. Yet everyone really liked the A2 steel tang Kip used...
  10. I called FFT. They confirm that their lifter IS NOT HEAT TREATED. Now at first, this seems like a bad thing. However, I cancelled my TTI order because TTI claims they ARE heat-treated. So why kill the TTI order? Because you CANNOT heat-treat 304SS, which both are made of. You CAN anneal it, but annealing actually softens the metal, which work-hardens from being cold worked. Cold worked like formed in a die. Like a shotgun shell lifter would be... If the 304SS can be worked into shape without annealing it, this is best, but if too much working is required, annealing might be necessary to continue working it. This has many implications for the TTI and FFT followers. Ultimately though, annealing is part of the process of working with 304SS sometimes, and NOT "a heat treatment" in the sense people normally associate it. It softens the metal so it can be worked more, which again work hardens it. It is not some "final form" treatment like it would be with a knife blade or something. So from what I gather, the TTI is actually the worser product, on paper, based on my understandings of working with 304SS. Here is more data: http://www.aksteel.com/pdf/markets_products/stainless/austenitic/304_304l_data_bulletin.pdf
  11. I'm triggered :/ When will all this be available?
  12. What's the difference? Has anyone used either? Thoughts? http://freedomfightertactical.com/collections/benelli-m4-tactical-shotgun-parts-and-accessories/products/the-freedom-fighter-tactical-worry-free-extended-carrier-for-the-benelli-m4-tactical-shotgun FFT: TTI:
  13. I use 90* on my carbine platforms. I installed ambi on my latest, but honestly prefer usgi I think. I trained to shoot ambi without any special gear modifications. The real litmus is how does this benelli safety feel? Does it fall easily to the user's control interface, or is it like driving an older exotic with offset pedals? (This assumes it's mechanically sound)
  14. Is the engagement definitively safe? I do not want some mickey-mouse barely safe BS.
  15. The oem parts worked fine both before and after the fft parts were installed.
  16. That model Limbsaver is a direct bolt-on for the OEM field and OEM PG stocks, but not the OEM C-stock.
  17. Realistic ETA? What do you mean by "chemistry tested"?
  18. You're still hitting your deadline listed on your website...that's special in and of itself nowdays.
  19. and here I am comfortably shooting a T2 with my FSP up on an M4 carbine... To each their own. CAG isn't running BUIS on their LPV equipped carbines in many cases, so it's not like you're in bad company at least.
  20. I've owned enough G triggers that I've seen it on others than the Benelli. Noone else is EDM'ing a Benelli trigger... CS guy was wrong. It happens pretty often.
  21. This one came from dsg, and it's definitely real.
  22. I go, but only when it's for company as on a date, or hanging out with friends, etc. Just me? I have no feelings of awkwardness about it, I just don't care enough, by myself, to go without the impetus of another person urging me to go, as well.
