AVA Tactical Benelli M4 Light Mount - Give Away!
RoadDad replied to AVATactical.com's topic in Benelli
Will a moderator please delete posts 2-46 inclusive? Thanks. -
If you can swing the price difference, this ^ is what you want. The Elzetta "comparably equipped" with a QD and rail is going to run about $100 which closes the price gap a bit...

He does this pretty regularly with some very nice offerings. And, please ensure not skipping over me for the drawing ha ha...

Benelli Raven Adjustable Stock Now Shipping - $50 Off
RoadDad replied to ATI Gunstocks's topic in Benelli
And should they offer that $50 back to every single person who pre-ordered? Usually prices take a dive after the initial units, as the "willing to wait so I'm gonna pre-order mine" market is usually more "willing to pay" a higher price premium than the rest of the market. It happens with cars a lot... new car model is coming out and they only sell at MSRP or more for preorders... sometime after they have been selling, MSRP is now too high for the market and the prices drop... then the rebates start coming out. On the flip side, if the sales price went up, you would be happy that you "got a deal" but would you be willing to give RTI more money if they asked 'because our price increased'? How would you feel as a customer if they did ask you that? Everyone is happy with the price they pay until that price drops with a rebate or a sale... or they find it elsewhere at a lower price. -
It's priced appropriately... free.

Part 81041 - Standard 'field' stock - in stock @ MGW $120.
RoadDad replied to paladinjme's topic in Benelli
No, you do not need to buy the sling plate. It is on/in the stock already (unless MGW is removing them to sell separately lol). -
The prices listed on the site are the sale prices with a strike through the regular price just above it.

Part 81041 - Standard 'field' stock - in stock @ MGW $120.
RoadDad replied to paladinjme's topic in Benelli
MGW was just selling them for $150 when Benelli got them back in stock. Apparently they bought more than they could sell at that price (although the website ran out of stock rather quickly) or got a new batch. I'm guessing the former, otherwise, why would they drop the price $30? I sold mine for an OBO price during that last run out MGW had and haven't heard any negatives or complaints about the price from the guy who bought it from me. He set the price so I really wouldn't expect any though lol. It was a little more than the Benelli site had it listed for but less than the MGW price. Value is whatever you are willing to pay for something but I have to agree with cspcrx that some of the free market is a little, or even a lotta, ridiculous. -
+1. I've never had an issue with them and the local Walmart carries them for $23 for the box.
-
+1. IIRC, the Fiocchi were about $15 for a box of 25.
-
Yeah, a whopping 5% increase in a year. I wish that's all that fuel had gone up. It wouldn't surprise me at all if their production costs went up 8% and they were eating the other 3 to keep in sub $200.
-
I'm guessing you could call them... ? (301) 283-6981 (option 2) or (800) 264-4962 (option 2)
-
Ok... I'll give you those two but ? How so exactly? I have had not a single issue with my SideArmor and certainly would not personally consider gluing velcro to my shotgun a "better" option.

Oops. Sorry. I can just edit the first post.

You could drill out snap caps and fill 'em with 00 and epoxy to get the weight correct but there is still the wrong "feel" 'cause they are all smooth and metallic. AND you just spent $25 for 2 caps plus a PITA modification process instead of $20 for a box of 25 dummy rounds. Midway USA had the Fiocchi (box of 25 for ~$15+ shipping) on back order forever then just changed their site to "discontinued" about 3 days ago and cancelled all the back orders (at least mine).
-
The Fiocchi have been discontinued. I don't know about the Remingtons. Probably easiest to have someone load some for you... it's just finding that guy that may not be easy. Snap caps are too light, IMO, for "real" practice (and friggin' expensive) but they are an option if you can't find anything else. EDIT: Sent you a PM.

SideArmor p rail with quick detach 6 shell carrier here. No complaints at all. The edges of the shell slots are a bit sharp as SD mentions but a small file will easily take care of that issue should you find it applies to your piece.

The tube will come, no doubt, but if you are no longer able to be patient with a small Mom and Pop manufacturer of a high quality part, I'm sure Kip and Marcy would refund your money and cancel your order. They won't have any trouble selling the tube that you ordered to someone else in short order.

Most home defense senarios that you are likely to find yourself in are not going to require 5 extra shells at the ready. The weapon in stock form already holds plenty of shells for HD IMHO, especially if you ghost load an extra . Having said that, the holders you have posted are sub-$15. Try one or the other and see if you like them. It isn't going to break the bank if it sucks and I doubt there is any substantial difference in quality between the two. But personally, I don't like buttstock shell holders as they seem to get in the way of my cheek weld when I change shooting shoulders.

It would only be disappointing if your weapon lets you down on a novice hunting trip. It would be tragic if some portion of your weapon ends up embedded in your face or head.
