Folks, we are out of stock on mounts. They are all gone. This is a great milestone for us, 2.5 years of offering, 3 years+ involved in the system. First product offering, completely new experience from beginning to end. I certainly am appreciative of the support the system has received from the community, it wouldn't have been possible without it. We are looking to the future now and hope to add even more value very soon. Perhaps the existing mounts should be deemed Mod 0 ?

Well, I just noticed there is a flat on the top and bottom of that extension on the complete barrel assembly I have here. Not sure i am interested in trying to take them apart though.

Sometime soon I have to get a M4 off to you to be reworked. Do you know how this would work if it was a NFA item from out of state, btw?

Not the trigger! Needs to be improved to do so. Keeping those pesky fingers from wandering into the trigger guard should be a top design priority for mod 1.

I am out of the official Surefire Z61s. The market has dried up and I cannot locate anymore. I do have another aftermarket offering now, E Series / Scout compatible non-flared tailcaps that utilize the McClicky forward click switch. They are available on the AVA Online Store for $23.00. They come hard coat anodized in black or natural tan.

Genuinely interested in how it turns out and compares to the Taren and other offerings. I am running the stock safety on my SBS, and may change it out.

Would love to see the safety installed.

It was designed for 1.25 Inch bezels, as it was released right around Fury release which has the 1.37" bezel. Folks have mounted Furys but they can contact the barrel under recoil. This is a matter of personal preference and asethetics. The Z61 Tailcap discontinuation makes E series difficult. However, I have a few coming in to help alleviate that issue shortly.

Sure. Why not? Light ring can be taken on and off while the main mount body is on the firearm.

You will need a Z61 tailcap to work with that Viking Tactics Surefire package. Yes, there was one person that modified the shrouded tailcap - and that is doable as well if that is your preference. E2D is also a popular choice, some folks like multi-level lights.
