  1. I personally own a whole trigger group assembly in hot standby as backup. I want to get an additional firing pin.
  2. @nimslow If I was you, I would reach out to FFT and see about getting a replacement. There is an apparent lifetime warranty. At least get a new trigger from them, and they you could sell it to someone who might need it. Out of curiosity, how many rounds do you figure the you have shot with the FFT parts?
  3. Let's hope that wasn't his attitude towards his products...
  4. You could look at buying a Shootersight hammer which is also 922(r), and selling the FFT. I have one in my currently installed trigger assembly. https://shootingsight.com/product/benelli-hammer/ . Just an idea.
  5. Milspec does have a valid point...
  6. Fair enough, these platforms are a money pit!
  7. Those slings are only $45? I thought they were more expensive than that. I have to check those out.
  8. @ClackClackBAM So I just recently bought the FFT fore grip myself. My set, which was black, has an okay fit and finish. I think I will be cutting some of the material at a later point to make it fit better. Since there aren't many options for 922(r) compliance, I can't complain too much. I do think that the OEM is a better fit/finish than FFT. The OEM has a more solid and textured feeling.
  9. When I did my 922(r) assembly, I chose the A&S route too. Kinda stinks that he might be pushed into that direction...especially since it's another $220. On the bright side, he does get another +1 in 922(r) compliance with the A&S!
  10. @ClackClackBAM I would also recommend looking at Stranger Danger's assembly/disassembly instructions and navigate to the conclusion section. Once there, you should be able to find an operational check sequence of steps. These steps allow you to test all the correct functions of the trigger assembly. I would be curious to know if, once you check these, if your trigger assembly fails any of them. Let us know once you know! Good luck man.
  11. @ClackClackBAM If I was you, I would give the gunsmith the chance to make things right on his end before your start doing any tinkering on your end. This way all the problems can be associated with the original work done by the gunsmith. People make mistakes...so let this person make good on his end. Now if he ends up leaving you high and dry, give the company some yelp reviews or something of that nature. Based on what you said, that a second round can't be fired, that is 100% not normal. What ammo were you using at the range?
  12. Hmmm...that's interesting. That's the first time I have heard of that. Can anyone confirm this?
  13. What kind of mag tube are you using?
  14. Well, I ordered my on 15May20, so I'm sure I would have at least a month beyond your order. Oh well!!! I'm much farther along in my build than I figured I would be, thanks to Stranger Danger letting me grab some parts from him. I bought a Scalarworks Sync mount and back-ordered a 1MOA RMR. I can't wait to finish up this beast!
  15. When did you put your order in at CC? LOL I'm invoice # 0000008775. Would you do me a favor an give me a heads up as soon as you get a call for payment, so I can ballpark my order ?
  16. I have bought parts of people on this forum, but I don't think there is anything officially setup for that purpose. As far as the price point is concerned, I think you're going to have to buckle-down and wait out the pandemic purchasing wave. After that's over I would imagine stores will be back in stock.
  17. Well I just noticed that benelliparts.net is accepting pre-orders on c-stocks. You might reach out to them and ask for a timeframe on the pre-order. Honestly, every supply chain for Benelli parts has pretty much dried up right now due to panic buying. The only way you'll find parts right now is probably on Gunbroker or Ebay, of which you will be price gouged to all heck...ask me how I know! ? Let the forum board know if you get any leads or traction. Good luck!
  18. I bought a ShootingSight hammer to compliment the other 922(r) parts that I had ready for a trigger assembly build. ShooterSight's hammer is high quality and I would recommend it, especially since it's available! I personally liked the laser etched raising of the flag at Iwo Jima logo.
  19. Here's what I'm working with. My main concern was doing excessive damage to the C-stock's finish to make this work. It also appears that the fastening screws have a diameter that is slightly too large to fit through the c-stock's factory sling slot as well.
  20. Can someone give me some advice as to how they installed their IWC QD sling mount into their C-stock? For me, it doesn't appear that the actual QD piece fits into the c-stock sling gap and it should seem some modification will be needed. Any help would be awesome. I'll try to attach some pictures in a little bit.
  21. @Sigma05 LOL I might venture to say that they were asking about the match saver on the fore grip.
  22. Well I know I have hear of people doing that against their weapon lights on the M4 platform.
  23. Ouch, that sounds pretty painful. Were they bad jams? I have a IWC mount that I was looking to attach soon. I doubt that my hold would be that far forward though.
  24. I just got a 11707 and it had the 3-pos. stock tube. My firearm was either a late 2019 or early 2020 production, so I believe they are still being included.
  25. Those are pretty interesting too! You're sparking my curiosity. I will wish someone had experience with the Benelli brand night sights. You would think some people would since they were apparently sold out. LOL I wonder where all those people are at!?
