    M4 feeding

Yes, you want the 2-piece latch for the 20-gauge model. It fits. I could never find one in stock but a board member here sold me one. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/60488 Here is a thread with some good info. https://forums.benelliusa.com/topic/24749-j-kenny-2-piece-shell-latch/

I believe the cutout is just there to help guide rounds in under stress. After a few thumb bites I got rid of it myself and installed the TTI lifter. I also tried polishing the latch to ease loading. Can't say it helped much. The one thing I did try that helped a lot was an M2 latch, but then I would have had to give up my preferred bolt release button, and I didn't like adding another failure point due to the hinged latch. So I ditched it. I can say that just over time and alot of reloading, it's gotten easier.

    CarrierComp

Sometimes they take a minute, they got grandkids. A sweet lady will call you to collect payment soon and all will be well.
  4. 😂 I saw those. Interesting indeed
  5. PM sent
  6. Do you mind if they are stippled already?
  7. 🤣 aw man that sucks! At least you know it's tight and not going anywhere. Im sure it will pop itself out of there after you put some rounds through it. Looks good!
  8. That's pretty slick you were able to get 5 3" shells in there. I run a 5rd tube and although I haven't tried, I know I couldn't do the same because it's tight with 5 2 3/4s. I use Federal FC rounds because I have a ton of em, and they run a bit long. Interestingly, with my OEM spring, I couldn't fit 5. I bought a Carrier Comp spring and still couldn't fit 5 without cutting coils. I was also using the OEM follower. I then got a follower with a flat face, as well as a new Carrier Comp spring and can load 5 2 3/4 rounds. I thought maybe since the rounds had been in the tube compressed for over a month the crimps had gotten compressed, but I tried about 40 fresh rounds out the ammo can and they all fit. Go figure.
  9. So I found a Geissele trigger and traded a kidney for it. Then I found an OEM aluminum trigger guard and grabbed that too. Figured I may as well put some Wolff trigger Springs in it while I had it torn down. You guys weren't lying about the trigger guards finish from the factory, I had to clean it up first.
  10. I feel so attacked..... 😭 Hey I'm retired and everything's paid for, I'm not gonna sit on my death bed wishing I had bought that Geissele hammer I'm gonna buy that shit! Good luck with your sale OP it is indeed a unicorn.
  11. She's a beaut bud 😍
  12. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1439020 In case anyone's still looking. As of this post they have 2 left. Last week they had 4, I bought one of em.
  13. One mod hasn't been on since June 14, another November 16, another February 1, 2016, and the last Tuesday at 06:06 AM. Time to hand over the reigns.
  14. Seems mine was manufactured in 2021. Came with polymer handguard.
  15. Shit I'll pull mod duty if needed I'm retired and bored anyway
  16. Now that you mention it, I do remember a bit of rotational play on my stock tube as well, but it went away with Robb's tube.
  17. Yeah mine was really tight when I first got it, and was still tight when I replaced it with a 6-pos tube. I oiled it and worked it back and forth a while and it loosened up.
  18. I was going to say Cotton Branch too, he posted this one he did on his Instagram. He does good work, he did an 870 barrel for me a while back.
  19. Thats why God made shorties. If I gotta clear the house after waking up in the dead of night I'm grabbing this first. Or this. If God forbid I run dry and gotta keep fighting I'm grabbing this. Or this. Only thing I use my long shotgun for is hunting/varmint control. My home is too small and crowded for shotguns really so they would be last on my list.
  20. I like the TTI one because in my gun it was crisp and positive. And the triangle design just kind of guided my finger in to position. But I hated that big ass T on the side 🫤. I like the Dave's safety but the one I had had serrations/ridges? that I don't care for because it caused resistance. I'm using one made for a Stoeger that is smooth and large, similar to Daves but it feels mushy. It's not the spring or plunger, I have fresh spares of those. So I guess if I could make my own, it would follow the TTI design but loose the logo/ridges, or be like the SJ Hardware 870 safety. Indicator lines would be a plus too.
  21. Got mine in the mail today. Machined beautifully and I'm happy with it. Keep up the good work bro.
  22. You make it I'll buy it man.
  23. Brother I thought Canada had no restrictions on SBS, semi-auto or pumps? Did something change recently? You more than likely know better than me since you live there. Either way, these look nice and functional. Keep up the good work 👍🏾
  24. Got mine for a good price on Gunbroker from a shop in Texas and got it shipped in to my dealer.
