M4 Sling Suggestions

What seems to be the standard in a two or three point sling for the M4? Something that will utilize the factory attachments and wont roll over on the user.

I recently encountered this same question. I decided on the Vickers padded cobra sling from Blue Force Gear, about $105.00. I special ordered 2 through Brownells for about $82 each, with LE discount and SHOT SHOW COUPON CODE LA1, add'l 10% off. The sling is made from 1 1/4 wide webbing but the M4 has a 1" sling loop in the PG stock and 1 1/4 on the front. I removed the front snap ring and twisted the sling mount to the left, for a right handed operator. I tried to remove the rear mount so I could open it up to accept a 1 1/4 sling, its impossible-don't try. Anyway I ordered the GG&G rear sling mount, http://www.gggaz.com/index.php?id=80&parents=153,172

If it fits great, winning combo. $110 later Im happy.

If it fits fine GG&G should list that rear sling attachment as fitting the M4 as well as the M1 and M3. They could sell a few more!

Needcash, I also went with this sling http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=&prod_id=135 in black, I had no problem pushing the 1 1/4 strap through the stock PG sling mount, was a little tight but with a little patience no problem.

 

I am not crazy about the GG&G mount don't like the taste of sling while aiming LOL.

 

I am going to move the rear sling to outside right mount on pistol grip for better transition, I am right handed shooter.

I use Specter Gear slings on all my long guns

 

I use their Benelli sling on my M4

I like the Vicker's line of slings. Have them on just about all my shotguns.

the VCAS cobra padded is the Vickers Combat Application Sling. just with the cobra buckle, and padded.

I am using a "Urban Sentry" Hybrid Sling. Damn good Material that you can set upon a 1 or 2 point set up. I dont like having a sling strapped directly into the butt stock side. I posted some scans @ my Home Page. The Sling System I use is Functional and will not break the Bank. I still do not know how to place a scan on one of these forums.

I have an Urban ERT Sling on my M4, it can be either single point or a two point sling. I love it.

I had a Urban ERT but sold it with a firearm as a complete kit awhile back.

 

I really like having QDs, preferably flush whenever possible, on my firearms. For that reason I use a Vicker's Padded and a recently got the Magpul MS3 I think, QD on each end.... I haven't ran with the magpul yet but it seems like a great unit as well. The one I have is not padded.

I have both the vickers padded vcas and the viking tactics vtac......they are almost identical in design, but I actually prefer the viking tactics, just seems a little smoother to operate
