Sorry for not making myself clear. Just pretty excited about this forearm / forend.

StrangerDanger
Anyone ask if they're doing any other color than black? The price is quite good. I had expected 75 - 90.
Super33
Great. Will you be updating this thread when they're released? I'd like to jump on one right away. Wouldn't mind one of those followers too.

Well, we have started an informal list and if you would like to be put on it, please let us know." Here's the list link..... http://freedomfightertactical.com/freedom-fighter-tactical-922r-compliant-forends-due-any-day/

BEAR_ICE
Here is a Pic & Quote from FFT’s website…. “Here is a picture we took of the first batch of forends that came out. For fun, we tested the first run with a high grade glass-filled nylon. We are not going to use this material in our final run for various reasons, but we thought we’d share the picture anyway. The flash really brings out the texture and coloring of the material, making the forends look like they are a cloudy-yellow color. That’s just the flash, but they do have a cloudy-dark grey/black coloring. Note that the barrel even takes on a gold or yellow hue. But again, we are not using this material, we just sampled it for consideration.” “Just in case you were wondering why the Benelli used in this picture does not have magazine modifications, or any other modifications – this is one of our stock guns for R & D purposes – we don’t play with this one in the field…” http://freedomfightertactical.com/the-fft-922r-compliant-forends-update/

John P.
Would love one with mounts for optional short rails for optics.
StrangerDanger
The handguards won't hold a zero. However, I would love for them to make one that had a provision for a small picatinny rail along the side up out of the way of where you place your hand. That way you could add a weapon light with almost no weight penalty.
Steve1968LS2
Wish they would have integrated a tiny rail section at the 3 o'clock section for a small light.. Right now I'm working on milling a flat spot onto my stocker to hold and extra Magpul rail I have. In any event, I will be buying one of these along with a charging handle and hammer from Kip.. John P.
... add a weapon light with almost no weight penalty. Woops--that's what I meant to say. I would love to be able to mount a light. I may just buy one and DIY.
