BigHat
You just sold me on that Sidearmor forward shell holder. Thanks for posting!! I use a T-1 on mine and think highly of it. I also have a dual illumination RMR that is also a great optic for this shotgun too.
SNovaTac
She sure is purdy. Looks fantastic with the M&P! How do you like the Sidearmor forward shell holder? Would that mount on any picatinny rail?

CHIEF GR
The T1 is small, compact, durable and i absolutely love it. My favorite red dot site. The sidearmor shell holder is well built however in conjuction with the fab defense rail it puts it quite forward, so people with shorter arms might not be able to easily access the ammo without breaking the stance. Great setup for ammo change over. Of course it mounts on any picatinny rail Thank you for the feedback
StrangerDanger
Looks well thought out. I really like the 3gungear swappable shell carriers. Best side saddle out there in my opinion.
CHIEF GR
nice! you like the Fab defence? I am really liking mine I looked into all the other options and it is by far the best value for its money. It also gives a nice positive forward grip and lots of mounting options. The only draw back is that its not plug & play it needs modification with a dremel to fit the M4 correctly.

CHIEF GR
i was trying to be polite without saying his gun looks like a total piece of ****! Dear Bello, Every shotgun, rifle or Gun should be built to a specific usage and purpose and should fit its owners needs. Aesthetically I can’t please everyone with what I have build, but it works for me so I don’t really mind. You are entitled to an opinion as everyone else (You know what they say about opinions) and that’s it. Your initial remark was noted but your second remark cannot go un answered. Hi jacking a thread to call someone else’s work a piece of **** does not add any value to the community and certainly does not add any value to my thread. I would at least expect that the Navy taught you some manners

CHIEF GR
1+ for the forward shell carrier Nice Build! A couple of questions: 1) How long is the barrel ? How many rounds do you hold in that configuration ? 2) Is that a Larue Quick Disconnet for the T1 ? PS Have you experienced any lockouts with the black hawk holster ?

BigHat
Only thing that's a bit strange from my viewpoint on this rig is the LaRue Tall (AR) mount on the Benelli. I'd think it would be waaay too high for a good cheek weld. Please share your experiences actually using it. http://www.laruetactical.com/larue-tactical-aimpoint-micro-mount-lt660-lt660hk-or-661 1+ for the forward shell carrier Edited November 4, 2011 by BigHat Add link to LaRue
benelliwerkes
I have the Daniel Defense.....as you know it has a hollow base support so you can use the factory fixed sights....but, the eye sight axis is too low when the gun is mounted for me.....the taller LaRue (blocked view base) is perfect for sight picture alignment when cheek is mounted to stock; also the reason I wanted BUIS so I went with the off-set SureFire Barry Dueck's which are really nice as well. That's my story.
BigHat
Thanks, I was just curious as to how it was working out for you. saym14
wow! that shell holder is $60 ? I have a velcro one that works fine I think it was under 10 bucks.
StrangerDanger
I believe benelliwerkes is designed to be fired with the stock fully collapsed if I recall. Hence the tall mount requirement.
