Is there that much difference between M2 and M4 Benelli Shotguns?

I use my M1/M2's a lot more than my M4. I purchased the M4 on a whim when a LGS had one for a pretty good deal. I didn't realize it was so much heavier until I got it home and put it together. I'll shoot it on the skeet/sporting clays range every now and then just for grins and once in a while in a 3-gun match but if I needed cash and had to sell one or the other, the M4 would go before the others. I can't think of a thing that it will do any better than the others.

Yes, VERY nice collection of guns. Can never go wrong collecting quality firearms. Contrary to most people, I prefer heavier weapons. Helps dampen recoil, I don't do those 3-gun run around a course shooting trials, and I will never be a 'bug out' type of person in some 'SHTF scenario', where supposedly one will be humping guns, ammo, food and water over hill and dale. So, IMHO, if you are only going to own ONE Benelli, the M4 is it.

Reliability, and heavier, stouter built guns, are what I prefer. And most importantly.....just look at those four guns....which one is the handsomest, most coolest looking? Why, the M4 is, hands down.:D I really dig the sharp angled drop from the receiver to the stock as opposed to the rounded end of the receiver.
