M2 weighs much less and seem to have more options for barrel length. Lots of support for the M2 from the run-n-gun crowd. Quote

I didn't realize it was so much heavier until I got it home and put it together. I'll shoot it on the skeet/sporting clays range every now and then just for grins and once in a while in a 3-gun match but if I needed cash and had to sell one or the other, the M4 would go before the others. Evolution Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 (edited) Yes, VERY nice collection of guns. Can never go wrong collecting quality firearms. Contrary to most people, I prefer heavier weapons. Helps dampen recoil, I don't do those 3-gun run around a course shooting trials, and I will never be a 'bug out' type of person in some 'SHTF scenario', where supposedly one will be humping guns, ammo, food and water over hill and dale. So, IMHO, if you are only going to own ONE Benelli, the M4 is it. Reliability, and heavier, stouter built guns, are what I prefer. And most importantly.....just look at those four guns....which one is the handsomest, most coolest looking? Why, the M4 is, hands down. I really dig the sharp angled drop from the receiver to the stock as opposed to the rounded end of the receiver. Edited September 21, 2014 by Evolution Quote
