Vertigofirearms
One of my lil side projects finally arrived. Pretty much a drop in ball detent to hold up the lifter while loading. To reset the, the bolt body will push the carrier down.
Vertigofirearms
Bonus: reproduction M3T rear sight. Needs to be soldered on and refinished

Can you go directly from loading the mag tube to shooting, or do you have to pull the bolt back to get the lifter to drop first?
Vertigofirearms
I have not tried a live fire yet; however I know for a fact you do not need to pull the bolt back before firing. If you have ever shot a Supernova or nova series, I drew inspiration from that platform.
Vertigofirearms
Sorry my hand is kinda shaky, I really need a tripod for my phone?. Here is the other factory lifter I switched out with the notorious finger biter in action.

ClackClackBAM
Okay, so how do I do this???
Vertigofirearms
You can't as it it was a custom ordered assembly. It is not a DIY type of deal and my project is only for the plastic trigger guards currently (I will eventually design one for my M3 metal trigger guard). I am still in the groundwork prototype stage. I don't know if it will even work that great when I go shoot it. An afternoon of fiddling with it I already have a design change in mind?. Evolution
Iv'e never had an issue with loading my M4 tho' I don't speed load it however, love your avatar!
Vertigofirearms
Yeah I've never had an issue with the M4 either. Try the new-(ish) 1301 competition Pro or a Supernova and you will love how the lifter stays up?.
Steve Rose
On the 1301 the lifter drops when the hammer falls. What makes the lifter drop on your Benelli mod?...or just go shoot it, I want to see it work! ? Edited July 25, 2020 by Steve Rose

Doge
Ran into development hiccups, it was jamming up my gun like 50% of the time. So it is in redesign right now.
