  1. The top photo looks like the older original model that was NP3 plated by ROBAR. You can tell by the bolt and trigger guard which are silver colored. The bottom photo is the newer H2O model which is a Ceracoted finish. The bottom is what Benelli is now shipping. They no longer make the true NP3 plated model.

  3. As some of you know, the cheek weld can get interesting when using the RMR on a Scalarworks Mount if you’re using the middle stock position. After some digging, I found a company named Reptilia that makes RMR spacers that sandwich between the Scalarworks rail and the RMR. The spacer utilizes the same mounting lugs that the RMR uses then provides more lugs on top of it. They make two heights, a 2.5mm and a 10mm riser. The supplied screws do not work with the assembly but could be modified by cutting them to the length needed. https://www.reptiliacorp.com/product/rof-riser-for-trijicon-rmr/

  4. The standard Nordic +5 tube(see below) is just a bit longer than the 21” barrel. Nordic also lists a +5B that is advertised as being a match to the 21” Benelli M2 barrel length. The standard 5 tune is 11.60” long, the +5B is 10.83” long. Nordic tube lenght info Some barrel clamps can impart pressure on the barrel and affect POI. There are methods for installing in the Nordic clap that can negate the clamp's affect or MOA Precision makes a “free floating” clamp that does not affect the POI. MOA Precision clamp

  5. That spanner wrench is the wrong tool for the job. It works, but not as well plain old 4mm punch (or 5/32" would work too in this case). If you invest into the this hobby, you should have punch set anyways. They are so useful for so many things! I damaged one of my guns when I was new because I had the wrong tools for the job.
