'Naked' Rein full size compliments the cerakote titanium well.

They were good enough to reduce the shipping costs to $9.95 even after they shipped it 2 day. Be advised I did not opt for the two day shipping, their website automatically did that to my order.

All of their lights are made in the USA. I have an owl on my 10.5” 5.56 and my lady has a Rein on her 10.5”. Super nice lights, impressively good throw with also a good amount of spill.

You guys are killing me. I had a $5.00 coupon. $185 and change. I read that the Rein is made in USA. Thanks for sharing the info and great pics. I'd give you an up vote but I'm told I reached my daily limit.

Made a few of these in free rotation and limited; feel free to use the idea:

There is clearance. The battery is swapped by removing the front lens and there's plenty of room and good knurling to unscrew it. The tail cap is the standard proprietary Cloud Defensive Rein tailcap.

Is there enough clearance between the light head and the barrel? Can you get the battery out if needed while it's attached to the IWC mount? It looks like your tail cap is slightly different.

That lip that you have circled in red is all that goes into the stock. You really don't need to tap the screws in, the tolerance is so close that they will begin to screw into the stock. Insert them into the backing plate, place the plate on the opposite side of the stock and begin screwing them in till you feel them begin to protude. Position the qd so that one hole aligns up with a screw, tighten a couple turns then align the second hole with the other screw and tighten a couple turns. Alternate tightening each screw so that the qd is pulled evenly till tight.

It rests on the lip of the part, the qd doesn't go all the way in by design. The screws with the backing plate pull it tight to the stock. It rides high but it is very secure.

I tried to do that trade-in but they force you to buy their tapeswitch and their mount which was $$$ and I didn't need them.

The Rein looks awesome. I know the OWL is made in the USA not sure about their other lights.

Does it align with the IWC QD sling/light mount?

Damn good deal - I bought a couple with that trade-in program they're running. Got a full size Rein and 2 Micros. Phenomenal lights.

Good deal however shipping was excessive for two (>$42, WOW) plus the sales tax hit put each at $205.

Good to know about the screws. I'm more curious how the recessed part of the QD fits. Does it insert fully/flush into the slot? I was under the impression that this was the piece that's giving everyone fitment issues. I'm just looking at pictures and thinking about how it fits. So my apologies if I'm talking out of my behind.

You want muted. SD is on the money as always. Brushed would be almost like car chrome.

The “blue” hue is a factory fuck up guys. This whole USMC spec story is just that: a story to sell fucked up guns.
