  1. It finally got warm enough and a bright sun shiny day to go out shooting. I took my Benelli M2 Tactical as I wanted to try out my new Tartan Carrier. The original carrier had a slight bend to it and when loading shells it pinched my thumb. The Tartan Carrier is flat and I had no problems. It was great to try out my shotgun again. I brought a box (25 shells) of bird shot. I loaded up 5 rds. at a time. The weather was still cold and I had a little difficulty in loading, but managed to do it. I fired across a stream to the embankment on the other side. The shotgun performed flawlessly and each time I loaded a shell, it was a lot easier with the new carrier than with the OEM carrier. So I recommend a flat Tartan Carrier. The one thing I forgot was, I have been carrying three large pumpkins in my truck bed and I forgot all about them. I so wanted to shoot them. Have you ever been on a pumpkin shoot? Oh, well. Good excuse to go out again. Now if the weather here in Sparks, NV would just cooperate! ...and yes, I picked up my spent shells and a few others that were there to keep the area clean. GOOD SHOOTIN' to you all.

  2. Hey y’all, just bought the supernova today which I’m very excited about! The only accessory I was wondering about was if the velcro side saddles would work on the side of the gun. The only reason I ask is because it doesn’t exactly have a flat surface to stick it on, has anyone tried one on theirs? Thanks in advance!

  3. The lube is extra but a discount will be applied if you supply dinner and a movie first.

  4. Yes, they will work just fine, the velcro doesn't have to be perfectly straight, flat or aligned. I always cut the sticky "wool" part to fit the receiver and when the "hook" is slapped on with shells it holds quite well.

  6. So I have them available again for those who were waiting. Regarding the Gas Piston tool; I am looking at design changes.

  7. Got a 7 shot tube from SOCOMguy installed and in looking at an extended mag spring and I am wondering what the difference is on a 12ga spring direct from Wolff vs the special ones that FFT that they say is made by Wolff that is selling for 5x the price of a Wolff standard XP spring. I cannot see what the big difference is for the extra money. A mag tube spring is not really rocket science. For the cost I think I will try the one from Wolff. Anyone else do the same?

  8. I’d buy a M1014 and a 11707 or other model that has the 3 position receiver extension. Then I’d take the stock from the M1014 and install it on the 11707. Put the fixed pistol grip stock on the M1014 and recoups the majority of my cash out of its sale. Bigger upfront cash layout, but you’d have the stock you want for 350-450 dollars and it would be had as soon as they shotguns delivered.

  9. As Nocturnal said, they are not hard to find. I just looked on Gunbroker and there are 11 for sale there, and another 4 on E-bay. If you want one, there are plenty out there. If you want to save some money, and have patience, you are going to have to wait for the next Benelliparts pre-order to open up. Price wise, the market dictates that. If you want ammo, gotta pay today’s price. Want to hold out for the 2 years ago price, you ain’t gonna have any ammo, maybe ever. Want to buy some Amazon stock at the price from 3 years ago? Ain’t gonna happen. So, if you want a C-stock the current market is $850-$1000, or $500 with patience from Benelliparts. Is your patience worth the $350-$500 savings, only you can answer that. From what I gather (and I may be wrong on this) Benelli isn’t really shipping these to the US currently. So you are looking for something no one can just go buy. Benelliparts has a connection somewhere and he gets them in spurts, along with other OEM Benelli parts not found anywhere else. Not sure I have seen the OEM muzzle brake anywhere other than from him. If I was building another M4, and wanted a C-stock on it, I’d buy a somewhat readily available 1014 to begin with and buy a 3 position recoil tube to install on it.

  10. I’d rather find a new one with the stock vs dumping another 500 into swapping mine out.
