  1. Try slinging the stock end on the right side. It will pull the stock close and pivot the pistol grip away from your torso. That may be more comfortable. Question... what is your intention with using the sling? Long hikes, moving quickly through the house? A long arm with a sling for me allows me to release the weapon to use my hands without dropping the weapon. It allows a quick transition to a handgun while retaining the long arm for quick access. With it over the right shoulder and under the left arm you can swing it back and have it behind your back if needed while still allowing a quick transition to a firing position. Earlier in this thread mkporwit provided a link to Blue Force Gear. Larry Vickers designed a sling for just this. Check it out, there are many vids with him detailing how to set up his sling. If you can't get the Benelli sling to work for you maybe you should return it and get something different. The beauty of the Blue Force Vickers sling is how quickly the length can be adjusted from a snug carry position to a looser shouldered position. Edit to add: Your first pic looks wrong and your second pic looks correct, but the sling seems kinda weird with an extra strap running along the length of the gun? Other than what is shown on the Benelli parts website I'm not very familiar with that sling. It seems too busy.

  2. If you look closely, you can see the body isn't machined much. So most likely, it is forged, then the mount surface and holes are machined and threaded, and then tumbled/laser etched/anodized/assembled. Whereas the other optics are completely machined. So reviews from the big youtubers will probably be uploaded soon. Wait and see if it will be a hit or flop like the ACRO P-1.

  3. New Duty RDS. For a rifle, but you can see they are going to a flush adjustment and keypad like from the ACRO P-2. Looks like it can take a T-2 low mount? https://www.aimpoint.com/products/new-releases/duty-rds-2-moa-red-dot-reflex-sight-with-39-mm-one-piece-tnp-mount-and-spacer

  4. Buy the A400, my son has had the A400 Extreme for 4 years and it has functioned flawlessly, and he hunts 3-5 days per week and rarely cleans his gun. I sold him my A400 Lite and bought a SBE3, what a HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! My new SBE3 shoots high 80/20 and left of center, looking straight down a flat rib. Benelli basically told me to pound sand, the gun is designed to shoot high. It's currently at the Benelli repair shop for the second time to inspect their previous repair job, which appears to be a safety concern.

  7. Nevermind, forgot I actually got the LE price through aimpoint direct. Actually cheaper to go through rooftopdefense.com or kenziesoptics.com.

  8. The reason that guy “needs” a heat shield is that he flips the gun over and lays the barrel on his shoulder to reload. That is not an approved technique.

  9. Yes, this is more like what I thought youtuber was talking about. He definitely said barrel heat shield.
