Remove the barrel first. Use aforementioned snap ring pliers to remove snap ring. Then you'll be able to adjust the sling plate as you want. Reinstall snap ring.
When I took mine off, I used a pair of snap ring pliers. I don't know if you can move it in different positions like you said. With the snap ring pliers, it comes right off with no problems. Hope this helps.
Have you considered the Briley rail? I keep seeing people talk about the Benelli rail or the Agency and the MI, but why isnt the Briley ever added to that list? I have the 13" Briley on my M4 and it is awesome. What do you think about it?
From my experience one has to be logged in with an approved account in order to utilize the advanced search to see the completed listings, no go otherwise.
I was thinking about the Stealth Arms myself. But I like the two piece of the standard DS 1911(2011) platform vs. the one piece that Stealth uses. And I have seen several grips that I like that I could use on my Prodigy. The Stealth would have cost me $2250 after adding a light and optic and my Prodigy cost me $2075 with all the upgrades and the light and optic. Plus, I get the satisfaction of doing the custom work myself which is something I love to do.
Yes I know, I have 3 and they work great. The reason for the inquiry I spelled out in my 2nd post i.e. someone trying to tell me the tube was "defective" if 7 rounds of any make wouldn't fit. I tried searching but couldn't find any thread on it though I know I've seen it at least once.
Correct, the reason I ask is I mentioned that on another forum and someone claimed if I couldn't fit 7 rounds of ANY manufacture in the tube it was defective (lol). Said he's been "working on guns for 50 years" and had never seen that. Apparently he's never noticed shotshells can vary in length between manufacturers either so I wanted feedback here, seems dubious.
