  5. Looks like the pre-order window is open again at benelliparts.net for the 3-position telescopic tube. Price has gone up from $199 to $249. Looks like the last batch took about four months to come in?

  6. While you look sign up at midway. They get them every few mo.

  7. Honestly at this price and wait those tubes by Regal are looking pretty good, especially now that they're including the flex ring with the order. And you get one right away instead of waiting several months.

  8. I doubt that this is a scam. You can't get the FFL Badge on Gunbroker if you are not a FFL.The seller has 222 transactions with a A+ rating.

  10. I would contact your online dealer and have them call Benelli and open up a RMA request, they will have the serial number of the gun and all of your particulars as well. Please PM me if you would like, I am in a leadership role for a very large Benelli Dealer.

  12. This sucks. Beretta has screwed Ernest Landon around a bunch of times in the past. LTT was one of the first out there to really advance the Beretta 9x series to a competition/duty quality firearm. I have one of his Beretta 92G Elite II's from way back around 2003. Having been an armorer for the Beretta 9x series pistols, his work make the DA/SA manual of arms tolerable. I put tens of thousands of rounds thru this one before moving on to striker fired guns for duty use. Ernest hand fit the Bar-Sto 4.7" barrel into this one and did a carry bevel job knocking off all of the sharp edges. Spurless hammer installed, trigger work done. Novak night sights that still glow. CTC laser grips and an old school mercury filled guide rod to dampen perceived recoil. The frame was then coated in Teflon-S.

  13. Wouldn't be terribly difficult to drill them with a drill press. I'll definitely review it when it comes in. I doubt I'd bother to replace an OEM 3 position tube with one of these 6 position extensions at the current price point, but it would be worth upgrading a M1014 if you need a functional extension anyway.

  14. The 3" version spec is still 1 1/8oz loads, in many cases, conditions, the gun will shoot lighter loads. The gun is priced $200.00 less than the 3.5 The gun is shorter in length The gun is lighter than the 3.5 The gun balance point thus changes

  16. Regal Metal Works has their 6 position recoil tube now available in case anyone is interested but there are only 4 left from this batch. https://regalmetalworks.com/product/benelli-m4-m1014-6-position-recoil-tube-new-release/

  17. I have a new 1301 and I don't care for it. The comparisons to an M4 have no merit. The 1301 has too much plastic and a thin walled barrel. Mine lasted 50 rounds before the barrel bulged, rear sight came loose, and some plastic in the action broke off and fell out. Luckily it was all fixed under warranty. The M4 is a robust military weapon; the 1301 is a commercial gun with black furniture.

  19. My opinion is take your money elsewhere. FFT doesn't do returns and is often the most expensive option compared to other places. If you run into problems with his custom parts its very difficult to get things resolved. There's like a bajillion disclaimers on every page stating with very anti-consumer messaging. Just some examples of the super scalping there:

  21. I'm going to side mostly with 12508 on this one. I didn't see in his original post where he made any sort of personal attack on Dave, just his product. While he could have and perhaps should have contacted Midway or Dave before posting, the fact remains that he received what appears to be an inferior product. I see nothing wrong with letting others know about it, as he did in the first post. Whether it's fixed or replaced or whatever, the potential to receive a bad one from a retailer seems to exist. That's really all he was saying.

  22. Hello this is Dave From Dave's Metal Works, I'm Sorry to hear that your product didn't Thread properly. All of our products carry a lifetime warranty so if you would like to E-mail me at [email protected] we can issue a return, Credit, or exchange. The nuts and tubes are made of aircraft grade 6061 aluminum, and are hard anodized. We do our best to check every tube and nut before it goes out to make sure everything works. It is completely my fault but I am only human so sometimes things get by me. So if you would like to try another nut or want a refund shoot me an e-mail. -Dave
