  1. Woodland I hunted in mil-surp stuff for half my life.
  2. If you need anything tighter than modified, you've got a bad spot. Wait for that guy next to the power line or the old dead tree to limit out and take his spot.
  3. Benelli reads, but rarely do they comment. To my knowledge, there have been no changes to improve the repeatable accuracy of the rifles once they are disassembled and reassembled. The same flaws are still very much there in the design. As far as the accuracy potential of each rifle, I think it's there, but they seem to be more susceptible to load variances than most other rifles. I believe there is a pet load out there for each R1, but it's going to cost you something to find it. Even after that happens, the repeatability issue remains a serious concern. The rifle has a specific purpose, and performs well within its limitations. It is not a highly accurate long range rifle. Your best bet for that is to stick with the AR platform.
  4. There's the answer.
  5. Spoilsport Duke of Federico 500 year commemorative. I think I'd have to wait for a better exchange rate.

  7. I TRIPLE DAWG DARE YA to buy that one!
  8. I believe I have it... or close. PM sent. Any more takers?
  9. Just abandon that one and setup a new one with the right name.
  10. It's the Benelli Envio. Or it could be the Benelli Imawhishinitwasmineo
  11. 15/30 here Looking forward to it! I wonder how many here have taken slightly in excess of the daily limit at one time or another in their lives? I hunted by myself by a power line that crossed a cut corn field while Hurricane Diana raged on. I think it was in 1984... or was it 85?
  12. That's the Benelli Crossbow. Where's the barrel, old man?
  13. They're running up a post count so they can post SPAM with pictures and URL's.
  14. Yes, you need to call Benelli CS and send in the gun for repairs. The spring could have simply been a bad one or there could be an underlying problem with another part on the gun. All I can say about the Remingtons is to reinforce what timb99 has already said. It's nonsense that his build will have any bearing on the gun's ability to function properly.
  15. Has anyone bothered reporting the offending users?
  16. I don't post very often, but I have learned a lot from the other members. Mostly, I keep to myself. I'm shy.

    Hello

Hello and welcome! Lots of good information here. Have you shot the gun yet?
  18. I'd never heard that one, but I do know that removing the barrel nut for cleaning will move zero.
  19. First DU spammer I've seen. Weird.
  20. I originally read your post with the understanding that the lip had pulled off the original recoil pad. I can't imagine the lip coming off the inside of the stock as I think it's all molded together.
  21. I'd buy it for that. If you don't want it, PM me the contact info.
  22. As far as I know, all SBE's will float a shell on the carrier. All SBEII's will not ('til you fix them).
  23. The subsequent use of recreational drugs and the Internet is not recommended.
  24. Fill the second groove with epoxy or have it tigged.
  25. Since duck season is out, my guess would be that they're handling dogs. That may not have come out quite right
