^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ....and THAT's why I love THIS site!

Did you try Googling it? I did and got a dealer on the very first result.
-
I'm still disappointed in several of you.

The so-called low recoil barrels are made with 4 ports to send more combustion gasses into the piston. They are designed to be used with girly loads and have no place in a man's collection. Sgt. Cathy is holding out for a 410 gauge M4

Yes....,,,,,
-
It kicks like a mule, and it won't cycle 7/8 ounce girly loads at the club
-
It shoots high and to the right too...

Normally I hose them off outside, but all my hoses was frozes.

If you wash your muddy waders in the wife's shower and then hang them there to dry.... you might be a duck hunter

Yes, but it may not be so in the minds of others. Someone, somewhere is responsible for whatever went wrong. The purchaser believes it is the fault of the maker. The maker, without the luxury of inspection, has agreed with him. There's nothing wrong with a founded accusation and laying blame where blame belongs. Nothing wrong with owning up to a mistake.

I'm going to side mostly with 12508 on this one. I didn't see in his original post where he made any sort of personal attack on Dave, just his product. While he could have and perhaps should have contacted Midway or Dave before posting, the fact remains that he received what appears to be an inferior product. I see nothing wrong with letting others know about it, as he did in the first post. Whether it's fixed or replaced or whatever, the potential to receive a bad one from a retailer seems to exist. That's really all he was saying.

Noon, my friend. Noon.

My first report came from another forum, from an individual who was driving by and saw the flames. I then used Google news search to find the article. Then I e-mailed one of the good people at Benelli and asked them if they were alright. I have no affiliation or special relationship with Benelli. I simply like their shotguns. That being said, I'd have no qualms with them sending me one of the new Vinci models for an extensive and objective review

Whatever it was that made that man type that mumbo-jumbo to begin with. I've gotta drink two bottles of wine to get to where he got in just three ounces!
-
I'm still looking to get three ounces, if anyone's selling

I just heard back from a contact there. Everyone is fine. The building is closed today and tomorrow, but it doesn't sound too serious. Good news indeed!

I'm hearing elsewhere that it was the heat treating facility. There was a short in a compressor and some chemicals or oil containers went off.

http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/0109/586894.html Accokeek, Md. - Prince George's County firefighters were on the scene of a fire at the Beretta gun manufacturing plant in Accokeek early Monday morning. The fire was described as a "task force fire," which is bigger than a one-alarm but smaller than a two-alarm fire. It started around 5:40 a.m. No information about what might have started the fire is available yet. A variety of hazardous chemicals are used in gun making, so there are some concerns about exposure to those chemicals inside the building.

Anyone have any experience with SNOWWIS Optics? Are they comparable to Ocsat? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120592074

c10250, You've owned and used shotguns for thirty years, yet you had no clue that YOUR SBEII came with a limiter plug. That's amazing, in a very sad way. I think you fall into the category of people who should certainly RTFM. Especially if you're going to give advice to others about it.

If the parts manual is accurate, then you can only remove the top part of the rear sight. Tap out the pin. The rest appears to be permanently attached.

+10000000 I wonder sometimes what kind of gun owning population we're building out there. There's no excuse for not knowing your firearms, butt to muzzle. I'm against more government control, but sometimes a firearms aptitude test for ownership sounds like the right thing to do.

If you can get that %$#*ed up on three ounces, it can't be legal
