  1. Black Cloud Midrange. I did miss a couple of teal yesterday, but they were @ 6 yards and turning upside down and sideways.
  2. Camo dipped will be much easier to maintain. The black will rust if it stays damp for more that four hours.
  3. This. They have always set the standard for CS excellence, going all the way back to when they borrowed money and went in the red to make good on their original bean boots.
  4. The two stocks are the same. The "carbon fiber" is a film finish, not real carbon fiber. It will wear just like any dipped finish, camo, etc.

  6. Hoppes Elite will make it right.

    SBE 2

They offered both for a year or so, but it was around 2003-2004 I believe.
  8. Tried to post a link, but it's being held for approval by a moderator, since I only have 7,200 posts here. Meanwhile spammers can post signature links on their first post. I digress. They all seem to have some play in them. It's hard to quantify in words on a forum. Google the term "benelli forearm loose" and you will find a previous discussion here about it, with a homemade fix posted as well.
  9. They all tend to have some play in them. Mine moves a very small amount. previous discussion here. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php/8159-SBE-II-forearm-loose
  10. Review your parts diagram and make sure that all of these parts are present.
  11. It's been SLOW here. Saw my first group of divers this morning. Black Cloud got wicked nasty on these woodies at close range. I think one of the drakes was killed by the wadding.
  12. I believe he said in another thread the CS was sending him an entire new bolt head, so he should be GTG.
  13. Dang! This seems to be a banner year for mudslurpers.
  14. You could try Customer Service, but for a gun that old you're probably going to have to find one on Ebay, numrich's, or gunbroker.

    SBEII barell

    That would be correct. Yes.
  16. http://americangundog.com/straightshooting_AGD1.html Episode 3

    SBEII barell

You remove it by sliding the spring out if the port as shown below. Then slide the plate back and lift the tab over the barrel ring - slide out.

    SBEII barell

Why not just call Benelli and explain the issue. Chances are they'll send you the parts.
  19. Supersport, Montefeltro, or Ultralight
  20. What did that gardener ever do to you?

    R1 in 308

Used .308's in walnut are available. Personally, I'd go with a BAR or a FNM0176. Both are more reliable and the latter comes with an accuracy guarantee.
  22. Off to the usual slow start here in balmy Southern VA. Still, a decent mixed bag of puddlers.
