  1. Plastic ones? I don't know. Brownells and others have the steel /stainless steel ones. They are called Forster plug screws.
  2. Yep. I killed a lot of deer, a bobcat, and a couple of turkeys in the 80s with my old 870 28" modified and Remington Sluggers. Never had a problem.
  3. I wouldn't pay the extra money for the waterfowl edition. The stock SBEII will kill just as many ducks.

  14. There are thousands of birds killed every year with 20 ga., 2-3/4" 12 ga., and 3" 12 ga. loads. No, 3-1/2" is not necessary. All it does is put more shot in the pattern, and sometimes that can make a difference.
