  1. I like theses and have a double case for my Mini 14 & Mini 30 i like them a lot as they have a group of pockets on the front for magazines! I also like their brown colored selection and it's padded just enough to keep from scratching the optics but my Mini 30 does not need an optic as the peeps are good enough! http://www.voodootactical.net/c-22-padded-weapons-cases.aspx
  2. Just take a small punch and push from the inside pushing them out! So they do ot have a threaded slotted screw installed?
  3. I would suspect if you could narrow down what you were hunting you could get a better answer, just a thought? Most all shotguns will pattern differently and it might not be much but they can be different! Pattern Board, ammo and due diligence will be the only way to find out what your shotgun shoots well and it's a blast trying different loads and chokes! I strictly like Primos tubes in my SBEII 2003 12 Ga! It likes the expensive heavy shot and Winchester hybrid stuff a lot!
  4. Manuals on Benelli home page under support link! Hope this solves the no manual issue!
  5. Well i have completed all requirements for the hunt in October so now just planning the logistics for the trip is all that has not been finished!
  6. If they have no slot on the top you probably just push them out from the inside with a small punch? Pictures might help solve this issue? i do not think they are a metallic screw they sound like they are a rubber plug that gets pushed out from the inside of the receiver?
  7. Original manuals are hard to come buy as many or should i say most people refuse to read them and yes i am included!

  9. Owners manual is a wonderful product and explains this procedure very well! Did you not get an owners manual, if not they have them on the main page under M$!
  10. CS will point you in the rite direction with a better selection than me but http://www.brownells.com/ is one of their authorized dealers! They sell them from the website also? http://www.benelliusa.com/store/Choke-Tubes-c9/
  11. i bought mine in early 2004 for 65.00 bucks and is still wrapped just as the one above, so did the ATF allow these to be imported again?
  12. Hey Thanks, i think my 300 Weatherby Mag will be up to the task and i should get the Hunt package middle of May. I might get some of those Montana decoys to just have an advantage as i have seen a few hunters use them out west with success! This should be a fun 3 day trip and i have a couple friends that will help me gut it and load it so i can take it to the gate to check it and finish by letting the skinners and Taxidermist take over the task! They are reasonable with their prices and local and have been doing this every year for a long time so it should turn out to be a good mount if i harvest! Wind in NM is terrible this year so getting winded will probably be an issue!
  13. http://www.dnzproducts.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=10 Watch the bottom video it's short but in short they are Alloy! I am partial to Warne Bases and mounts myself but these are becoming more common!

  16. Pg 74 of the owners manual speaks of troubleshooting and it mentions shooting 3 or 4 boxes of hunting ammo thru it if it has cycling issues? Other than that this would need to be addressed to Benelli for a RA# and return to them?
  17. I will not wing a once in a lifetime Oryx hunt as it's just something you can't do hardly unless you go to Africa! Big Bucks for that trip and this one i could do as a out and back every day hunt but i will stage out of Alamogordo, NM in a hotel and hit the Tulie gate for Rhodes Canyon daily! They have emailed everyone and said digital cameras were ok for on range as long as they were not taking pictures of background terrain and buildings and only of hunting party and kill! Top Secret tumbleweeds and sand blasted sheds are of vital National Security:p
  18. The benefits are from chokes and different choices of ammo, the barrel length issue is not an issue and it's as tucker mentioned a feel issue mostly! Most say go with the 28 inch but if it were me i would see which shouldered the best! Watch the Gun Fit video on tuckers link also it has some important info as well!
  19. http://www.thegunzone.com/556v223.html I suppose if it's a 5.56 firearm it would be ok to use 223 ammo in it but if it was a 223 firearm i would not an will not use 5.56 Nato in my Mini 14! Just my Opinion you can shoot whatever you feel safe with. http://www.saami.org/specifications_and_information/publications/download/SAAMI_ITEM_211-Unsafe_Arms_and_Ammunition_Combinations.pdf Above on page # 6 say's you can't use 5.56 in a 223!
  20. I have read on other forums about your same issue and they have said Benelli says to use 223 ammo? and that is messed up! The advertisement of it being able to safely shoot 5.56 Nato is just not good unless it can shoot 5.56 Nato which everyone knows you should not use 5.56 Nato in a 223? Good luck but they will tell you use what is printed and stamped on the firearm?
  21. I would suspect that if they advertised 5.56 Nato then yes it will also shoot 223 but a 223 trying to shoot 5.56 Nato is where their would be an issue! If i were in question i would call Benelli and ask them! There is a diffence in the 2 rounds and what does the Manual say?
  22. I suppose you did not even shoot any 3 inch shells?
  23. http://www.benelli.it/Articoli/Armi.asp?ID=14 Find the tab that says downloads and it will have what you need also!
  24. Which one patterned the best? try some decent oil and clean the bolt group really good and do not over lube!
  25. No problem and it will be mounted if i harvest and pics will be involved!
