  1. Benelli does take their time but it also took them 3 or 4 months to get my new SBEII back at the end of 2003! They were brand new and production had just not ramped up fast enough to get the shotgun shipped from Italy and to my dealer in a timely manner, which i did not have a heart attack about the time it took! Anyone expecting to get a gun fixed during hunting season in any expedited manner is probably in for an unpleasant surprise. This is when everyones firearms always need to be fixed and the back logs can be large and it just depends on which manufacturer you are speaking about! My SBEII has been flawless since day 1 and i knock on wood it stays that way! Strongly suggest taking a firearm out and using it and not waiting till the day before the hunt and then talk trash about how slow the manufacturer was about fixing it and ruining their season when the firearm possibly could have been repaired before the season started with just a little bit of thought on the owners part! Just a thought!
  2. First Italian Shotgun i suspect, getting anything fixed during season is no fun and understand your frustration but all you are going to do is get more frustrated and not too many Benelli CS folk read too many post to trouble shoot problems over the internet! I agree that would make since but never seen anyone get CS help from this forum from Benelli CS an i have been around here for some time! The even mention to not post these type of questions here and to call them from your duck blind if you have a signal! If you would post up the answers to my questions someone might respond to reasons that you might be having malfunctions. Could be as simple as the shells you are using but then again it could be mechanical issues? I suppose you cleaned the shotgun and used some quality synthetic lube in the appropriate places? Hope no remoil was involved in the lubrication process!
  3. Is this with a certain manufacturers shell or all manufacturers? They have been known to have issues with brass that is deformed on the corners and certain manufacturers were having issues with this manufacturing issue but any shotgun can have problems but i would not settle for less than a functional firearm from no matter who manufactured it! i feel Benelli should feel the same and they need to fix your issue, if it's not a shell issue! Send it back!!
  4. http://www.benelliusa.com/promos/index.php Since it's a free call and YOUR money i would get the word from the Manufacturer and not have to delay a rebate that will take forever to get to start with!
  5. I think that deer on the left is having issues with some kinda growth from his backside? Is that normal on the right coast for horns on both ends or was it just the water he had been drinking? BTW both were really nice deer and congrats to ya both!
  6. So a little help with why it fell off would be nice? If you had problems with a choke and you do not know what you bought it will be hard to keep from buying the same tube again? Primos tube that i have has never fell off while i was shooting it? Primos website should be enough for anyone to find the correct tube or just give the guys a call and ask them which tube is it that you need! This is what i use! https://shop.primos.com/pc-851-78-jelly-head-choke-tube-12-ga-benelli-sbe-ii.aspx
  7. (the real one at) 100 ? Seems you added 1 too many zero's from your first post ?
  8. Never made sausage with deer but when i smell it cooking do not be surprised if an older Arkanite fella shows up with that feed me look on his face! You will know it's me because i look like i have not missed many meals in the last several years! I have made sausage with elk and we just cut it with pork fat and added garlic, basil and hot chili flakes and it turned out OK!
  9. All i got to drive was my Fathers Work truck an old 63 Chevy PU that would drive nice sideways on most Arkansas gravel roads!! i invented drifting in second gear with the old 3 on the tree long time ago! this was before i was even legal to drive!
  10. I just picked up a Vanguard 300 Weatherby Magnum and wood does nothing for me but ends up with scratches and dings and brakes in half so i will stick with B&C Fiber-guard on both of my SMOA Weatherbys! The 257 i have is a sub 1/2" shooter and the 300 is on it's way back to Weatherby for an accu-brake!
  11. Finally someone with a Benelli that hit the dime! Was it shot from a Benelli? Kinda hard to believe unless it was say a 50 yd shot! You guys need to give up and come over to the DARK side man up and get a real tack driver Weatherby 257 SMOA!
  12. Never used one on a shotgun? But i do use my Leupold Magnetic Boresighter on all my rifles and i like it!
  13. try them it might like them? Never know what it might spit out but thinking they will not cycle is probably not the best indicator! The SBEII was probably not designed to shoot them but it will not hurt nothing if ya try! that was my excuse for getting a Browning Citori Satin Lightning and it works for me!
  14. Most Benelli's shoot low so i would try leading normally and put the front bead under a tad and see if that does good for ya. i called Benelli when i got my shotgun and the Tech told me he took a dremmel and cut his mid bead slap off! I have heard all kinds of thought such as stack them & align them but i can't see mine anyway with my poor eyes so that is a non issue!
  15. I liked the optics more!
  16. They never post their junk until Friday PM and we have to look or navigate around their fodder all weekend! Please let someone take care of these guys before Monday Am, or just post their home address i think that would be appropriate!
  17. That is why they come with 30 round clips!
  18. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beretta http://www.bbi.com.es/
  19. I just do not understand why people keep missing the dime?
  20. Go to google shopping and enter your manufacturer and their part number and then hit search, they have always pulled up the cheapest price for me. Then see if opticsbest buy.com has the same item becasue they do not charge shipping or tax and NM being a internet non use tax state we do not have to pay taxes on internet purchase. i have found this to be the cheapest way to keep from paying Retail in any big box store! Savings can be north of 30% minimum and a good optic at a good price would be the 3 x9 40 Zeiss at around 399.00 and i would also call opticsbestbuy.com and get them to price match since they charge no shipping or tax! That power scope would work fine for -06 and zeiss is a decent optic and it's a big seller at that price! Another site i use is manventureoutpost.com, but opticsbestbuy.com will match anyones advertised lowest price and as mentioned no tax nor shipping unless ya live in their state which is Texas. i have bought several items from them and have had zero issues! I like to lap my rings no matter what style i use but i prefer weaver style made by Warne Manufacturing and i use 2 piece steel bases and standard steel rings and use the process in this link to install them. http://www.battenfeldtechnologies.com/downloads/video.asp?Professional-Scope-Mounting-DVD Lotta Gunsmiths do not even use the above procedure so if ya want it done rite ask them if they use this process, it keeps the scope from loosing zero and also keeps scope ring marks off the scope tube!

  22. Only problem area is where the crimp opens up and leaves plastic residue inside barrel and other than that just a simple oil patch/mop run down the barell on occasion is all that is needed! I use those long fuzzy mops on my range gun, OU Citori and it's quick and easy but the plastic comes off without much effort and a little solvent to the affected area with light scrubbing!
  23. You could easily sell this but i would add a little more information as in Benelli Part # and is it a SBE or a SBEII they are different i believe! For that price it will fly but more information would be needed for a quick sale!
  24. Have ya seen these? http://www.urbanertslings.com/besunoslurhy1.html They are expensive but seem more secure than the ones with thos thin stock shimm type adapters? Plus you are getting a sling
  25. for some odd reason it's on neither Home page under manuals?
