  1. The M2 manual i looked at did not show a cast adjustment or cast shims for this shotgun? Only a drop kit?
  2. Primos makes some good ones Decoy & Pass but maybe not for your shotgun or your application, more information could get you a better reply:) What ya hunting?
  3. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showpost.php?p=112018&postcount=1 This post should help with understanding legality or it might just confuse you more?
  4. http://www.benelliusa.com/assets/manuals/Benelli_M1_Super_90_manual.pdf page 99 has good pictures:D
  5. http://www.hivizsights.com/Shotgun-BirdBuster-Magnetic-Sight-P86C1.aspx All your problems solved with this easy to use/install system, helped me anyway? Cheapest fix going
  6. No Brady Bill here in NM
  7. No big deal & not trying to flame you everyone knows it's probably not correct but can i get by with it, sure you can but is it legal or illegal? Probably not, but who is going to catch you or even care? If you live in Cali i would be concerned, if not i would do what i wanted and not be overly concerned!
  8. My understanding is the bore is chrome plated? and i would suspect it is only a thin layer of chrome and under that i think it's a layer of copper plating and when the solvent contacts it thru a scratch it will start the corrosive process. Could be wrong but this info comes from Hoppe's website.
  9. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/search.php?searchid=1224851 This search should shed some light on the issue which has been beat to death as you can see with a simple 922r (SEARCH)
  10. Read the entire manual!! http://www.militec.com/firearms/manual21.html Do not expect anyone to lube a firearm from the factory, i just made that mistake of not cleaning a new firearm (Beretta) and it had several FTF and with 3 different types of ammo and i called Beretta and they said they do not clean their new pistols before shipping. It shipped with cutting fluids and oils in it which are not enough to keep gun from having malfunctions! MY FAULT!! i should have done a complete break down and lube and did not so i think you know where this is headed! I would do a complete breakdown and lube and get rid of any old fluids and sub standard oils! Manual is for the Military Versions but it should be really close and has an excellent cleaning chapter!
  11. Sounds like plastic from crimp area on end of shells when they open, if it's in that area i use Hoppe's #9 and a bronze brush and repeatedly work that area. But you must be careful with Hoppe's # 9 due to it getting under the chrome plating in the bore, NOT GOOD!! It will ruin the barrel and start a corrosive fester where the product enters under the chrome plating! I use it but i use it with caution and it always removes the melted crimp from end of the shells & it has always removed other junk in the bore and get it removed as soon as possible and oil the bore and i then use a bore mop to remove excess oil!
  12. Possibly might need the Hybrid shot you brought with you to even keep up with the locals! Most of it depends on your ability to put it on them and have some good shots with either you would use. Lead is cheaper and has worked for years and the Hybrid might work at much longer distances but if they are close i would save my money and do lead!

    M4 choke?

page 48 of your owners manual has version in English! Not a bad picture and it even explains it.

    M4 choke?

Local Dealer told me that they had been finding Full tubes coming from Benelli and were changing them to Modified like they were supposed to be, and yes it only comes with 1 tube! http://www.benelliusa.com/parts_and_accessories/choke_tubes.php you can find which chokes your gun can use here at bottom of page or try aftermarket applications?
  16. My answer to the 2012 EVENT is a Weatherby Mark V Accumark in 338-378 and i am thinking about getting it a tad early so i can get it grouping really nice at really long ranges! Also looking for donations for ammo 120.00 per 20 rounds.
  17. I have a Browning Citori Satin Lightning and have no problems with it being manufactured using products from Japan! Shoots really nice and the 2008 model i got came in 3 1/2 version and the 2009/2010 only come in 3" version but to me that would not be a deal breaker because i only use it for range shooting. I have a 2003 SBE II that has been flawless and rust free from day 1 that i use for everything else. Also just picked up a H&R "hehe" 12Ga Topper Classic Deluxe to play with, it's a single shot but that is what i wanted and that is what i got. Took me 2 years to get one due to high demand from what i was told. I think someone was BSN me from what i read Remington had bought them (MARLIN) out back in 2008 and closed a facility and opened a new one in SC i think? Just ordered 6 chokes from manventureoutpost for it and got a great deal! 6 tubes for 100.00 bucks and they are Browning Standard Invector tubes! I would look at those Mossberg Silver Reserves for around 480.00 bucks also at Wallyworld? I have also been looking at Wallyworld's Beretta 390 for around 540.00, backup for my SBEII and not a bad shotgun from what i hear from others that have a couple. My Weatherby Vanguard SMOA in 257 has made in Japan steel and i am getting 3/8" groups at 100 yds and have had NO issues with this rifle either! BTW Happy Holidays from NM:eek: http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=9181530&oh= I got this one for 1099.00 a few months back and it's really a sweet shooter even in 12 Ga!
  18. Yep they will smoke you becasue you are a visitor, no i was kidding and lead will always shoot better than steel but you should be fine and if you would feel better buy some lead over there if you have a good choke with you, if not just put it on them guys with the BC! Must be nice, Christmas Duck hunt in Spain! Good Luck and do not miss too many:p
  19. Low-Viscocity Synthetic Gun oil, open FAQ on Benelli site it's under the header of support!
  20. Brand new 2008 Remington SPS 308 for more than brand new 2009 price? It is not a NEW Gun,why more than 2009 NEW price? I recently bought a brand new from Retail store 2008 Browning Citori 12 Ga Satin Lightning and they marked it down from 1299.00 to 1099.00 but it had not set in anyones gun safe for a year?
  21. We all make mistakes, some just cost more than others!

    Whoa Nelli!

I kinda liked the Vinci Intro, even though it was a year old it never got old:p
  23. Thought i would mention since i have been guilty of this is using Hoppe's #09 Solvent on rifles and shotgun bores/actions which are nickle or chrome platted. If the solvent gets under the platting your barrel will be toast! You can use it but i would suggest use it wisely in those type of applications
  24. http://www.opticsbestbuy.com/SIGHTMARK-12GA-Laser-Bore-Sight.html?feed=Froogle I would think you would have to have one of the above bore sighters to actually bore sight the shotgun and you really think shimming it will be needed? I would think if you used the EGW rail or the weaver mount that it would probably fit nicely without shims? I guess it might need them and shims are cheap! I picked up one of those Leupold Magnetic Zero Point bore sight jobs and for a rifle they are pretty nice and not many wasted shots if you get good with it! Which i am getting better not good! Never had a scope on a shotgun good luck getting it sighted in, was looking at the scope specs and you have plenty of adjustment per it's specs, 100 MOA!!
  25. So is your super nova cammo or black? Scope matt black or cammo? http://www.weaveroptics.com/mountcharts/default.aspx have ya seen these? Most rings/bases are made by Warne, they make Nikon, Leupold and several more and are a really good product! They are just down the street from Leupold Facility! http://www.opticsplanet.net/egw-benelli-super-nova-pump-shotgun-scope-mount-2076.html Have you seen this type base? Where are the Shims used? http://www.battenfeldtechnologies.com/downloads/video.asp?Professional-Scope-Mounting-DVD I picked up one of these kits to use for mounting my scopes since i have got a group of them and never had to use a shim for anything yet? I also got the Tipton Best Gun Vise shown in video! It works nicely and is hard to beat for the price. Most folks do not lap their rings much less align them, i have noticed that during installation that my Warne rings were not in alignment and this kit allows you to align them prior to scope installation! Kit works pretty good, only used it once so far but think this will keep damage to optics to a minimum. If you dig around you can find some good prices and the company tucker spoke of is where i picked up the Kit & 89 Piece screwdriver set which i probably did not need but it is nice since i hade very little that was of Firearms quality tools!
