  1. Found the 11724 @ impact guns for 1600.00. Only problem is the 4 month wait. Sounds like a good investment assuming future tranferability of NFA.
  2. Oh, and get yourself a big piece of cardboard and step back 25 yards with a mod. choke and mount your shotgun from a gun down position and fire at an orange dot or whatever about 10 times and you will see exactly where you a 'Patterning". If low and a C shim and plate go to a B. Too high? Go to a D. Essentially, If you move the stock up or raise it the pattern goes up. Move the stock down or lower it ,pattern goes down. Move the stock right by inletting or bending the pattern will go right. Whichever way you move the stock is the direction you will move the pattern. Sorry for the monologue for those of you that know.
  3. Yeah, he's right. You might have a D shim and plate in your gun however. They come from the factory w/ D or C shims and plates. You will be able to tell once you take it off. You need a 13mm deep drive socket w/ an extension to take off yor stock after you take off your pad. Stick your phillips screwdriver in vaseline to unscrew your pad so you don't enlarge you hole in the pad or rip it. Good luck dude.
  4. Yeah, I'd be real interested in that myself.
  5. aga7040, Give me a price. I'm looking for another one of these part# 70085. Thanks Johnny Witt

I'm an airline pilot who has a friend that is a federal flight deck officer. Will he be able to get one or do they only ship to departments. Man I can't understand why they don't sell these to the public. I understand that with the short mag they are completely 100% legal!
  7. Yeah sign off no problem. I'm told that Benelli only drop ships the collapsible stock to military or copshops. If I have a stamp though and it is a NFA weapon will I be able to get a 11724 or should I get a form 1 and make one out of an existing 11707? Thanks for the responses.
  8. I was wondering if I paid the 200.00 tax stamp will Benelli sell me the gun since it is an NFA firearm?

Where in **** did you find a M-4 skeleton stock? I'm about to give up here. Frustrated in Utah
  10. Hey, thanks Nitro Kid that helps a lot.
  11. I have found a guy on an auction who is selling one for 650.00 including shipping. It is an older one that has moderate use, i.e. a few handling marks. It has a side saddle and sling included. This seems like a excellent price to me. I have never bought a gun on the internet from an individual. He wants full pymt. up front of course and he wants to ship it to the FFL of my choice. So, how do I keep from getting ripped on this deal? Thanks for any input. Johnny
  12. I am interested in buying the collapsible skeleton stocked version. Ph.# 281-224-2934. Thanks.
  13. Hey, have you cleaned the recoil tube inside the rear stock? Blow it out with gun scrubber and then shoot some rem oil or other lubricant of your choice in there. If an otherwise clean Benelli jams that's probably it.
  14. Both shotguns are excellent guns. The Benelli's are easier to clean and break down. The Benelli kicks more and I think that the beretta gel-tec pad system is more secure and solid than the comfort tec system on the benelli, also the longest LOP on the M2 or SBE is 14 3/8 but usually measures out at 14 1/4. Honestly, I don't think you need 3.5 inch shells because with all that recoil it will eventually affect your shooting, i.e. flinching. I've been through that 3.5 inch deal and if you can't bring em' down with a 3" shell you not going to do it with a 3.5". For long range shooting the most important thing is gun fit at the pattern board and practice off a long range sporting clays tower. Just one guys opinion.
  15. I have both Benelli's and Beretta's and also have a bad shoulder and neck. For hunting ( where extreme reliability is not a factor, but recoil is ,a beretta gas gun like a AL 391 works good with a factory Gel-Tec pad. You can get a short pad and a long one for different lengths of pull. My AL 391 will shoot 7/8 oz. loads as well as the heaviest 3" waterfowl loads. If you can handle the recoil though, yur probably better off with a Benelli. Plus, Beretta's are a PAIN to clean. [ 10-27-2006, 01:25 AM: Message edited by: johnnywitt ]

    Shim Kit

A=50mm B=55mm C=60mm, Probably in your gun & D=65mm Drop. Put vaseline on your screwdriver and take off your pad. Then, Get a 13mm deep drive socket and take off your stock and see. Good Luck.
  17. I am unable to register on ar15 for some reason and therefore cannot contact socomguy to obtain the mag tubes I need. Can anyone please help me?Thanks, Johnny Witt
