  1. You might consider just putting one of socomguys full length ext's on that gun and either selling the collapsible to pay for your gun or get a 11707 model and swap the stocks. One will collapse, one won't. Big deal, cause you will have two VERY kick arse shotguns! Have fun with your new gun.
  2. If anyone wants to buy one I'll sell you mine for 100.00 including shipping and ins. I have the collapsibles on both M4's. I just want a standard non pistol grip stock for one of my guns. Maybe someone wants to trade for a pistol grip and some cashola. I would trade two brand new fixed pistol grips for 1 regular conventional stock.
  3. Sarge, you are the MAN!!! And DAvecz, this is completely legal under FEDERAL LAW; however, local or state laws might have stricter prohibitions. By the way, are you Czech because cz is the way all Czech internet IP's end. I saw and handled a real Czech Scorpion in a gunshop over there and they said anybody with a czech gun license could own one. Cool shizzle!
  4. Dude, are you really a monoskier? That **** is difficult. I like to ski and live in the mountains in Utard. Lots of Mormons, but hey, there're pro-gun and the skiing kicks-ass. Welcome aboard man. M4 is a kick ass weapon! I've own two. One will shoot even 7/8 oz loads and the other will only shoot 1 1/8 oz. like Benelli advertises. You can still find ext.'s and collapsible stocks as well.
  5. That looks like a very cool deal! Thanks.
  6. Everything from CYL to Skeet and IC seems to be the best for slugs and buck. What range are you shooting at? Different guns will do different things as well as different loads. You have to experiment with different chokes and loads at different ranges. One M4 shoots real good with a Skeet chk, the other likes a Cyl.chk. Both like a IC at 30+ yards though. Have fun experimenting!
  7. I have two M4's, both are 11707 with the notched receivers. One is marked M4 LE and the other is marked M4. They are the SAME GUN!!! Both will take a collapsible stock.
  8. Even LE can't gat the full length BENELLI tube. They will however give you a 2 shot extension. This is cooler for me cause you can slide off your regular bbl. and slide on a 14" one , that is if they ever get around to making some. Benelli's getting to be like HK though and only wants to help propagate a police state.
  9. The fault is with the BATFE for restricting something to LE that is not in fact illegal for civilian ownership. I talked to the Benelli CS rep and he was under the impression that those stocks are illegal for civilians. I've got 3 so I guess I'm in big trouble LOL. Where does it say that these stocks are illegal? Iwant to see it! This is simply Benelli sucking the *ss of the Fascist oppressors. Viva La Revolution!
  10. If you have an 11707 gun and a collapsible stock there is a 100% chance it will fit, barring of course, a defective gun or stock assembly. Don't listen to the other guy ; he is mistaken. Before you do this however, why don't you call Arnold @ lesalesusa.com and discuss your needs with him.
  11. Also check your eye dominence. Take your index finger and like a front sight, with BOTH eyes open line your finger up with a small object across the room. Close your left eye, hopefully your finger is right on the "target", if not your cross side dominant and need to shoot with cast-on in your stock- like a left hander would. With a Benelli you would need to turn your shim and plate to the other side, I can't remember if its SX or DX because when I bought my Benelli's they didn't have a proviso for cast-on. The cast-off or cast-on with the shim will only give very marginal POI change laterally however. Most shooters will end up inletting the stock to get on target. This is only important if you are shooting moving targets at 35+ yards or more. The farther your target is, the greater your error will be. This applys to tighter choke constrictions as well. A person that has a well fit shootgun can hit targets consistantly out to 50-60 yards with practice and a 12 ga. with trap loads. If you are shooting a PG at stationary or slow moving targets you gun fit becomes much less important because your can compensate be crawling into the stock like a rifle or use sights or optics to change POI; however, you will still have much more felt recoil with an ill fitting gun, i.e. knock the sh*t out of your cheek or jaw. Just my .02.
  12. A Benneli Montefeltro youth would be perfect. And later he could add a full sized stock. These stocks are adjustable for drop- very important for anyone, especially a growing kid. If a kid can't hit they will become disenchated with the sport and you will potentially lose a lifetime hunting partner. The drawback is the price. But if you look at what it cost to hunt and shoot these days and for a lifetime shotgun that can grow with him through his life, maybe it's a good deal. My wife sure does like her gun ( the one she appropriated from me).

Yeah, I just now started shooting PG stocks for the first time recently when I got my 11707's and I instantly notice how they seem to tame the recoil a bit. I also noticed I can't swing on a moving target near as well as a traditional stock. I like the PG for shooting at stationary targets much better however, especially with slugs and the excellent ghost rings. Iwas surprised how accurate the gun is with slugs (practical accuracy offhand). I plan on using the gun for sure for turkey hunting (and they say the gun has no sporting purpose) as I think it will make an ideal gun for turkeys and I think I might try to take a big game animal as well with a slug. I was pleasantly surprised to find my guns- after proper break-in with magnums will now shoot the 7/8 oz Winchester Super Speed loads for plinking at targets with the kid and wife. It hardly kicks at all and cycles beautifully! I like the fact that with my UNSPORTING and BANNED collapsible stock my small statured family members can have a gun that fits them with the stock in the middle position and fits me fully extended. Benelli and the ATF really did a disservice to Benneli owners when they decided to ban this stock for civilian purchase. My family members are too small to shoot this gun comfortably with the non collapsible stocks.

Wait till you have neck surgery from shooting heavy 12 bore loads. A 12 biore shottie with magnum loads kicks right up their with magnum rifles, and you don't usually shoot a couple hundred 300 win mags a day, do ya?
  15. Dude, have you cleaned your recoil tube? #1 cause of a Benelli being sold to a guy like me for a very reasonably price, he he.
  16. Ok, what you have is NOT choke related, but stock related! Your shooting to the right. You stock needs to be inletted (bent to the left). Your stock is your rear sight on a shotgun. Move stock right, gun shoots right, move stock left gun shoots left. guess what happens when you move the stock up, i.e., go from a d shim and plate to a c or b. Yep, you guessed it- pattern moves up. This is not ROCKET SCIENCE and I am certainly not NASA MATERIAL; however, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Really, no sh*t, I did.

    I know what you mean.

A 20 ga. was designed to shoot 7/8 oz. loads. Increasingly, however, the average load being marketed is a 1 oz. load. These mothers kick Harder in a lt. wt. 20 than a 12. I have my Beretta AL391 twelve ga. and I shoot 24 gram/ 7/8 oz loads through it and at 8.5 lbs. or so, it's like shooting a pop gun. Again if you do the forcing cones with porting and maybe even backboring you can get a 20 to almost no recoil with a kick-ezz trap dude pade and std. 20 ga loads. By the way, I could never get my Benelli 12's to shoot 7/8 oz (24 gram) loads without malfunctions.
  19. Keep both eyes open and focus ONLY on the target. With a proper mount, I gaurantee that changing shims and plates will move poi vertically. With cast on or cast off the stock is stuck at about .25". To get more cast you will have to inlet the stock.

Ok, I have shot so many rounds through shotguns I had to have neck surgery and I'm here to tell you for 12 gauge shooting nothing beats a gas gun, with the Beretta leading the pack. I have two Berettas and two Benelli hunting guns and guess which ones get pulled out to shoot. If you are recoil sensitive go with a gas gun. There are many excellent makes and models to choose from in a myriad of price points. A Benelli is super easy to clean and uber reliable, but will kick the snot out of you. That being said if you like 20 gauges have the barrels forcing cones lengthened and ported with 2 rows and your Benelli 20 gauge will kick like a 410 magnum. But the 12 will still kick hard. Oh, and get a kick-ezz trap dude recoil pad.
  21. Yeah, she can only operate within the restrictions placed upon her by the powers that be. Just frustrated by some of the stupid laws that restrict our constitutional right to bear arms.
  22. I've had expensive shotguns with the chokes that were bored off axis from the factory. The tighter the choke constriction and the farther away the target the more pronounced the error will be. Take your barrel off your gun. Hold your barrel up to a light and look through the barrel FROM THE MUZZLE end of the barrel. With your choke installed you should see an EVEN circle. If the circle is wider on one side your barrel was bored off axis and Benelli needs to send you another barrel because a new choke will do you about 0 good. Good luck with your problem.
  23. Yes, and beretta chokes are the same as well.
