  1. I believe the Nodakspud tube allows you to slip off the barrel w/o removing the extension. Just like the original Benelli 2 shot extension. I would HATE to have to unscrew my extension each and every time I removed the damn barrel. That wouls suck! Don't take my word on it though, call and check. +1 on the socomguys tubes! I, however, like the versatility of being able to take off the extension at will, though. You never know if you might end up in a socialist utopia like CA or NJ or some F.U. place like that. Sorry for any people that might have to live in one of these commie states.
  2. Yes, I have one of these guns. It shoots better than the other gun that just said M4 on the receiver. The M4 LE gun required no break in and shoots the 7/8 oz. .20 ga loads for about 50 rds when cleaned before it starts to have FTE's. My other gun required about 100 rds to properly break in and doesn't really like the lt. loads much. Both guns are 2 port M4's. Just a coincidence I suppose, maybe though, Benelli made the LE version a little better as far as quality control- I don't know.
  3. DSA does a very small pic rail they attach to FAL's. It works great. They take a small pic rail with an alum. back plate and it screws to the handguard on the ejection port side, so the operator can activate the pressure switch with their thumb on the opposite side handgrip. I like it. You could probably send in your right handguard and they would do this for a nominal fee. I have an extra set of handguards for my M4's because I think the handguards are a weak link anyway and look like they would break if I dropped the weapon just right (or wrong).
  4. H, hallelujah on that statement. Its not like your going to shoot for groups with slugs under the moonlight or anything.
  5. Benelli CS is getting uncomfortably close to the arrogant customer service over at my friends at HK. Benelli had better watch out though because Benelli, unlike HK, still relies on civilians like you and me for a preponderance of their business. I hate to say it, but the quality of Benelli is not the quality that I experienced in the early 90's when I bought my first Montefeltro S90 .20 ga. I think the problems began when Benelli sold out to Beretta. I also have a very big problem with Benelli's capitulation to the ATF Nazi's ( who like the IRS make their own law) regarding the M4 shotgun adjustable buttstocks that allow smaller and larger shooters to shoot the same gun and have it actually fit. I dought, unfortunately, that any after market copies will become available due to patent issues, as the adjustable stock is very innovative and must have a patent on it surely.
  6. Go with Briley Tubes. Extended, so you can change by hand. You can get them black as well so they don't reflect. Briley chokes are all true constriction and guarateed concentric. Most people tend to choke up way too tight with modern shotshells- not to mention steel shot. A skeet choke for decoying birds is excellent and you'll probably kill way more birds. For pass shooting or shy birds an IC or LT MOD. works great. An IC will do everything well. For true long range pass shooting MOD. or just maybe an Imp. Mod. I never shoot any tighter than a LT. Mod. anymore (except X-Full at turkeys- rifle style). If you start shooting a more open choke you'll see what I'm talking about is true. I had an old 870 with a 30" full choke barrel that I had Brilet open up to Skeet constriction. I'd give this old gun to people and they would start really bustin' birds. It was hilarious, because they would say something about how that long barrel and full choke really hits 'em hard, LOL.
  7. Man, That looks like an M4 that got buttraped by a arfcom M4 carbine. A combat shotgun is not going to handle and swing like a shotgun with all that crap on it. And unless your shooting slugs, or turkeys with an extra full choke at a stationary target, you don't even LOOK at the sights on your shotgun, only your TARGET. If somebody pops up, or is running top speed at 50-60 yrds. or closer, depending on choke constriction, I'm gonna light 'em up at least twice while somebody with all that junk on their SHOTGUN is still trying to get on target or missing because they are trying to shoot and handle a shotgun like a rifle. A shotgun loses it's edge when you try to make it into a carbine. YMMV, to each their own, ect
  8. Yeah, go to lesalesusa.com, tell them you frequent this sight- and walla. Talk to Arnold and tell him your Benelli needs bro. He'll help you out.
  9. THEY ARE BEING IMPORTED!!! DON"T MISREPRESENT YOURSELF MY FRIEND. NO, YOU CAN"T PICK ONE UP AT WALMART. WIDELY AVAILABLE, AH...NO. BUT, AVAILABLE NONE THE LESS. DON'T INSULT US ON THIS BOARD WITH YOUR SILLY INFLATED OFFERS- DIG?
  10. Look, these stock are not banned from import from the ATF, they are simply being restricted by Benelli. They will ship all of these stocks you want, provided your a cop shop. Anybody that wants one, just take you friendly copper' out for entertainment at his favorite male entertainment club and you should have no issues getting one. There not illegal. Once you have it you get to keep it. Or, go to lesales.com and get you one for a reasonable price.
  11. Yeah, how much dough? Excluding the stamp, of course. Did they re-thread for a choke tube or is it Cyl.?
  12. And 6 3"ers in the tube. Plus you can carrier load an extra shell. Your aware of the excellent tubes that socomguy sells right here on this forum, right?

    Ammo Question

    Federal TruBall's.
  14. Theese es no bueno senor. How many rounds have you shot through it? Mine both seem ok, so far. With the current availability on critters I hope they take care of this. Maybe they had a run of stocks that were softer or somthing. Let us know how this works out.
  15. Ain't that the truth. How bought the POI since you got it back, sight alignment and overall quality, does it look like a factory job and all? I appreciate this cause I'm seriously gonna get a 14" barrel and I don't get the the impression from Benelli that civilians are going to have a lot of opportunities for factory barrel conversions. I hope I'm wrong. Barrels are avilable on gunparts.com. They're not cheap though. Oh, and what was the tarriff on that baby?
  16. Cyl., SKEET, IC and maybe a MOD. for fifty yard 00 buck buffered full power loads. No penetration on the reduced recoil loads. Those are for Female Officers shooting pumps lol. Hard to beat a SKEET constriction in a combat shotgun for buck and slugs IMO- try it and see for yourself. Briley in houston makes excellent chokes in black. If the choke is not an extended choke the black ain't really gonna matter, unless it just bothers you.
  17. Damn Germans. Federal is good stuff. I've been wanting to try out the new TruBall slugs in regular and reduced recoil. Supposedly they give you about 25-30yrds more effective range- at least the regulars supposedly do. I'll let you know if I ever get any.
  18. I shoot my M4's from the hip all the time. and sometimes with lighter loads 7/8 oz. or a few times when dirty even the 1oz. loads. Benelli makes this gun to shoot 3 1/4 dram 1 1/8 oz. loads or stouter. Look at your shells. Lots of shells have 3 dram or less powder charges, and as light as 7/8 oz. or 24 gram shotloads in them. Also, I think it's like pistols when you don't keep a locked wrist, sometime the slide can't make it back all the way and it will FTF or even FTE. I know i'm gonna get stomped by the ARGO boys here for this and all, but if it isn't the light load and the gun is clean try holding the forearm and the pistol grip especially firm to keep the gun from recoiling back as much. I noticed that this works for me when I shoot lighter loads than the recommended Benelli minimum. I know this cause I give it to the wife- jam. Take it back- works. Hope this helps.
  19. What kinda problem are you having and is it with a collapsible stock? I'm curious if they will waranty a collapsible if your not a police dept.? I hope they will if it comes to it, but Benelli's getting a little like HK, Ther're forgetin' to dance with who brung 'em. After all it's just a friggen shotgun, not a belt fed full auto for christsakes. Excuse me sir, but I'm having a slight problem with my M4 stock, it doesn't want to stay extended when I'm firing in full auto lol. Seriously, I'm GLAD I can't get a full auto M4 shottie, my ammo bill is already way too high! This, of course, according to the Wife.
  20. That Militec is good stuff. How you gonna haet up the recoil tube though?
  21. I know your young and tough- no doubt in my mind. Go to any shotgun clays event though and talk to guys who have fired 12 ga shotguns for 25-30yrs. Your gonna notice that some of them have had detatched retina problems, neck problems (c5-c6), and some use release triggers for a permanent flinch or small ga. inserts. You can only be a tough guy so long and it will catch up with ya. Not trying to pick on you or anything like that vinceyboy, Just something to think about.
  22. +1 in the 20. Not so hot in the blind like you stated.A 20 bacause you can travel with 5 kilos of small arms ammo, if thats important to you and still find ammo worldwide, ie Cordoba.

    Ammo Question

Those birdcracker loads are fun. Kinda like shootin' off a mortar round that airbursts. A real funny thing to do is get ya some and ask to see your Buddy's gun to 'admire it' and slip one in while dove or quail hunting and see the look on their face when they shoot at a bird. Probably not advisable if your huntin' pard has a finely refurbished Holland &Holland or a Boss et. al.
  24. I look forward to you firing to see if there are any POI issues, particularly with the slugs. I am going to do this to one of my guns as well. I just bought a FA Uzi though and a bunch of mags and need a suppressor as well, so I might be a ways behind you on this one for awhile. Congratulations on a fine looking shotgun. Oh, where did you put the engraving Sarge? This is truly cool cause now you just throw on a std. bbl. and screw on a factory mag ext. if you want to go back to a longer barrel. The long mag tubes are nice, but wouldn't work too good in this case.
  25. Two M4's, both 2 port bbl's. Both guns cleaned thoroughly before firing. The one receiver that was marked M4 LE, not a hiccup yet with regular loads and will even digest 7/8 oz. 20 gauge load weights with 3 1/4 gr. powder charge. The other gun, newer, gave me **** for about 100 rounds then runs like a champ now, but it won't cycle 7/8 oz. for sh*t. Benelli will probably give you another gun. They know about those 4 port guns. Hope they come through for ya.
