That is very nice! How much do they run??What does it use for mounting in the ground?

I love my Steadygrip,but mine is on an M1.It makes my gun feel like a part of my body when I'm sitting at the bottom of a tree waiting for "ol' Tom" to get there.The Recoil from the stock pad feels like Barry Bonds is using your shoulder for batting practice though!

The M1 is very underrated.It is my pick for turkeys,as you get Fantastic performance withhout paying for bells and whistles. Good Luck and enjoy!

Are those mushrooms really that good? I always see people going CRAZY over those things.On a couple of hunting videos,you would think that they struck gold when they found them!

Ranchers can get crazy! I had the same problem last year on a private lease I belonged to.I'd be out hunting and they would drive right up and ask me what I was doing!

What is the most frustrating,or anger inducing thing to ever happen to you while turkey hunting on public land?

Just use all the excess stuff you aquire,to help outfit someone new that you take into the woods.It gives a special joy to see your "old" stuff being used to the max,while helping someone get a quality experience! Tucker, I think those two were set up at Bass Pro Shop two weeks ago!LOL

Give it a go, and I can assure you that if you get a true experience,you will be hooked.Just let that gobble hit you in the darkness for the first time,with your gun in your hands,ready for the daylight,you'll know then.

Some folks have different morals than others.I think it's funny to see new calls and stuff on Ebay,before people even know they are even manufactured,wonder where they come from:rolleyes: The prototype stuff comes with no packaging,and the demo stuff comes with packaging.I go to stores and set up a table with the calls on it(out of the package) and let people try them out.They can then go to the shelf and buy it for themselves.At some point in the day,I have a seminar and talk about strategy,how to call,or do calling demonstrations,followed by a Q&A session. I keep one or two of each product for myself so I can hunt with it and get pictures in the field.Whatever is leftover,is used as door prizes and donations at NWTF banquets I attend. Quaker Boy,TruGlo,DK Flatwoods camo,ThermaCELL,CVA Muzzleloaders,and the others are very keen on getting new people involved in the sport and provide me and the rest of the Pro's with the equipment to help give hands on instruction as well as promote the proper use of the product,thus helping ensure people get the most of their experience outdoors. Thanks for stopping by! I don't see a single dollar from any of the companies I represent.I am a store manager for a popular national grocery store chain. I am sponsored by Quake through CVA. There is money that can be made,but I feel that is sketchy at best in some situations.If someone gets a ton of free stuff from companies and sells it on Ebay or to friends,to me that is wrong.I try to spread the wealth to kids,women,and new hunters that come out to hear me speak at events.It was given to me so I give back. I've never been there,but since I'm at that show opening weekend,I think I'll do a little "show and go" hunt. Is that the closest WMA to Keenansville?

I got one of the shotgun models in a shipment that they sent me,and it had no instruction or packaging,so I cut the loop and added a plastic buckle like other slings have,and ran the left over material through it and added a swivel,so it now looks and works like any other CLAW sling. The Quake swivels are second to none in strength and weather resistance.

Flhawhhuntr, have you seen any advertisement for the Osceola Sportsman's Show in your neck of the woods?The one down in keenansville?I think it's going to be crazy! All Florida hunters,get yourselves down there,and come hang out!

How much time left until your Turkey opener? What is your #1 priority at this point in time,as far as getting ready?Some folks are past the patterning stage,while others havn't even started yet.Some are still trying to pick out which camo pattern they want to wear,or polish up on their calling.Where are you at,in your own pre season program?

Hevi-13 #6 has yet to let me down. Good choice!

How much land did you end up buying for us to hunt on?LOL

I personally run with #6 shot. I will go with #5's sometimes when the foliage starts to become an issue,but I know my sixes will get the job done if they happen to be in the gun.My guns just pattern better with 6 shot,but someone else's might pattern better with other sizes.The only way to find out for sure is to head to the patterning board with a smile on your face.
