  1. Cool. Dick's has some pretty neat stuff sometimes. You never know what kind of little gems you'll find in there!lol
  2. Did those Swamp Stalkers come from Gander Mtn.?
  3. The ability to shoot all sizes of shells is a nice option to have. It's nice to know that even if you "never" shoot 3.5in shells, you could if you changed your mind..
  4. What is your favorite type or brand of boot to wear hunting during the EARLY seasons in Fall like dove, archery, etc?
  5. Thanx. I die everytime I look at these pics! It really does make you wonder what is going on inside the millions of other homes in America at any given moment. Just imagine for a moment,if a lost pizza guy or even a Girl Scout with cookies was on the other side of that door:eek:
  6. Cut him SOME slack, he's just really ready to enforce the "30 min or less" rule at Domino's! lol
  7. What type of waterfowl are you going out for, ducks?geese?both:)
  8. The East coast Fl to ME Rem 7600 pump 18.5 in bbl .30-'06 Rem 7600 35 Whelen 22in bbl Still-hunting 4life!
  9. Look on the right side towards the bottom of the "Left hand models" page It says crio system http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/lefthand.tpl
  10. I always got by with a Mod. in a 16ga. I just tried to shoot them from a little farther away,as not to rip them to shreds. The tighter the choke the farther the shot is my rule of thumb, for really small game that I plan on eating.
  11. One of my new favorites is to watch waterfowl getting blasted in flooded timber. I'm loving the echos of six or seven guns blazing away until the only sound you hear is the ducks hitting the water and the noise that goes with the dogs going to get them. It's better when the hunters are guys that know what they are doing,it makes it more pleasant on the ears:D
  12. What is your least favorite animal to watch being hunted?
  13. What is your Honest opinion of these "hunting" shows that are on TV these days? What do you like or hate about them?
  14. Does anyone remember "Diamondback" camoflauge from the mid 90's? It looked like a rattlesnake's skin and was brown and tan, with some green foliage sprinkled on in. It kind of just faded into the sunset, but was a pretty cool attempt. It's not my all time fave. I just wanted to see if anyone remembered it. This one here digs down a little deep in the bin!
  15. Since hunting season is right around the corner, let's revisit this one. What is the pattern that has impressed you the most,or you have the best memories with throughout history? Everybody has one or two..
  16. I shoot the factory Mod. tube
  17. The oil that comes with it is pretty good for light lubing, but not to be slathered on as the sole means of rust prevention. Like anything, there is an aftermarket product that is better for this or better for that, but the included oil is of respectable quality.
  18. The three words I've learned not to use when it comes to guns and performance are "nothing, never, and always"
  19. Reintroducing myself to friends, coworkers and family that thought I had been kidnapped,or missing since last Fall:p
  20. I was at a Gander Mtn. in NY a month ago,and they had a nice cleaning kit in a long black case that looked like an arrow holder, and it had the red Benelli logo on it. It had a bunch of cool Shooters Choice items in it.It was $80 for the kit. Not what you were asking about, but I thought it was pretty neat!
  21. If you can get two or three fingernails under the top of it,it peels out upwards. To put it back in,just place it back over the hole, and press it back into place, working around the edges,so there are no little gaps. I can understand your hesitation, these little things are around $75:eek:
  22. I personally use a 24in. bbl. on my Benelli turkey guns. I didn't have that length set in stone when I went shopping,it came down to what was available.I knew that a 28in. was too long for my taste though,as it would get even longer when I put an extended tube in it.That would be way too long for the types of terrain that I hunt in.I have shot ducks, geese, doves, turkeys, and rabbits with these guns and never felt that I needed a longer or shorter barrel at any time. My advise is to go to your dealer and handle as many guns as possible in as many configurations as possible, and go with the one that feels the most like an extention of your arms! good luck with your search.
  23. This is where I send my stuff. http://www.camoent.com/ These guys are on the ball
