For any idiots out there who still think birdshot is effective
Unobtanium replied to Unobtanium's topic in Benelli
Sorry, your complete nonsensical entrance into the thread with an off-topic post threw me. Yes I understand the parody you are making. Why you are making it, I have no clue. I bring you more evidence to the table suggesting that a common behavior is detrimental to the health of those practicing it, and you respond with some crap about a video-game. So tell us Mr. RealWorld. How many OIS's have you been in? How many wars did you fight in? Until that number supercedes that of plenty of others who recommend the same as I do (Ditch the birdshot), then please, do not downplay good advice when you see it. Does a doctor need to have cancer to diagnose it. No. Do I need to have shot someone with birdshot and then with buckshot to prove which is better? No. However, others here have gone against conventional and proven wisdom, and I think that proof is required to support their belief. Not just one incident, but proof on par with that of those advocating buckshot. Then again, I guess we all just live in one big video-game if we care what we stuff into the chamber of our go-to weapon. -

So you are saying the game is made-up, and I didn't really play it? I just want to be crystal clear reguarding your implications. -
Why don't you call him during the time he told you to on his website. "We will respond to any urgent concerns regarding an order status, and will be available to receive calls between the hours of 5PM-7PM CST."-Kip's Website

WTF!? That game looks monotonous as **** and the graphics suck and the plot looks lame and... ETA: I played the game for a few minutes and stand by my above opinion^ Epic gaming fail. The plot comes off as though it was written by a 5-year old. It's pathetic. -
While I think well of Kip, I do agree that barring accident/hospitalization or something, he should at least create a public update thread or a blog on his website or something of the nature and check/post in it at least once a week. It is disconcerting not to hear from the person you have given money to. Another thing, when you called him, was it during the hours specified on his web-site? I know Kip is busy, but he is hurting his reputation by not touching base a little more frequently.

IIRC, this does NOT circumvent 922R. It was hashed out on ar15.com one time.
-
I still think that everyone trying to comply with 922r is like someone trying to build their basement to withstand a direct hit with a nuke: Pointless, a waste of resources, and if it DOES happen it won't be your only problem.

Doesn't matter, then the shotgun loses the "Evil" PG feature and you are G2G with the mag-tube. THe ATF still doesn't know what an M4 is...dual pistons. Those are 2 parts. -

I question whether or not it was just 4 pellets. 4 pellets may have been all that were IN him, but that doesn't jive with common sense. 4-pellets felt like a baseball bat? Knocked his head back like that? From THAT short of a distance? (view the diagrams) I don't know. I know what the article said, but I am a skeptic. Either way, had it been buckshot he would be dead. Period. -
http://www.lawofficer.com/news-and-articles/articles/lom/0506/a_warrior_sacrifice.html# Read the whole story. Shotgun blast to the forehead. Birdshot. Cop killed the assailant for his troubles. Assailant was a total bullet-sponge and soaked up multiple rounds of 230gr GDHP's to the torso. ETA quote about stupid woman: Also ETA badass tactics and mad skill on cop's part: ETA: Quote proving that even the BG knows birdshot is worthless on people Article goes on to say that the birdshot was #4, it did enter his brain (2 pellets) and had long-term effect. However, long-term effect didn't save Mettinger, and it won't save you.

Meh. Too heavy. Adding that to an already beefy M4 is rediculous. Cody 6.0's M2 would choke and die!

Sorry to piss in everyone's cheerios, but the only person that that letter is effective for is the recipient. -

$250/500rnds is what I payed last week. -
A clean used M1, a new/used M2, both would do nicely, the M2 a little moreso.

Tested some RA45T(Enhanced) today. It is absurd. Sorry, I scanned that which is why the field of depth is so shallow. 2 different projectiles are shown, they are all but mirror images of each other, so I showed the back of one and the front of the other. Tested in soaked phone-books at 10 meters.
