ATF to accept public comments prior to outlawing shotguns
Sukhoi_fan replied to Sukhoi_fan's topic in Benelli
Looking around I see where Uno posted this update on another forum - http://www.ammoland.com/2011/11/19/little-noticed-provision-kills-atf-shotgun-ban-plans/#axzz1srzbCJmm -
I feel the love, don't you? http://www.infowars.com/atf-to-accept-public-comments-prior-to-outlawing-shotguns/

You didn't specify rifle or sidearm. If you want a tack driving .22 rifle then I suggest a good clean used Marlin Golden 39A (or 39M), preferably pre-crossbolt safety. Avoid 'Rem-lins' (any Marlin made in the past couple of years in the Remington plant after 'Freedom' Group closed the New Haven plant). 10/22 rifles are nice rifles and I have one myself, but bone stock they are only so-so however there are tons of aftermarket barrels and such to tighten up your groups with.I If you're wanting a pistol Ruger makes the very nice Single Six and their Mark II series (my gunsmith advises avoiding the Mark III Ruger pistols) - have no info regarding Ruger's latest .22 pistol the SR22 but I like the looks of it. I have a Browning Buckmark I'm very pleased with. I hear the Beretta Neos is uber accurate but I don't like the position of the safety, difficult to acquire quickly.

Same here - I can't help but think the darker the bolt knob the less visible in low light.

It's likely due to your low post count. I suggest you PM me the links and I'll post them. -

Perhaps you could post them on a photo hosting site and post the links. -
Then you've sworn under the pains and penalties of perjury that you're in fact a 'U.S. citizen', which is not a good thing to be under any circumstances - see 'The Red Amendment' regarding the absolute fraud of the so-called 14th Amendment. Back on topic: IMHO the chances that someone would have drawn attention to their C-stock equipped M4 are extremely small coupled with the fact that I would think that very few LEOs are RKIs regarding what is and what isn't '922® compliant' (consider how many forum members here are able to cite the parts count for '922® compliance' without having to research the matter). Thus my first post on the matter - there would have to be an instance where some thug wanted to screw you over, and if that were the case you'd have the gun removed from your care, custody, and control pending 'further investigation' regardless of '922® compliance' just because thugs are that way.

lol If voting did any real good our overseers would outlaw it.

Not a hijack, I appreciate any discussion comparing suitable optics for CQB shotguns. -
It only takes one chance encounter with a thug to ruin your whole day. Support the SAF - http://www.saf.org/default.asp?p=gunrights_faq#3

Is that a 2 port or 4 port barrel?

The STS and RTS are not NV compatible, otherwise I would opt for one of those. -
It's NV compatible, and it's also very competitively priced - http://www.cmore.com/railway.html

Geissele Automatics Benelli M4 hammer in stock at Brownells

A high quality 'U.S. made' part to contribute to one's 'made in the USA' parts count for those who wish to add a FL mag tube and/or C-stock (for 922® compliance). -
SD and I were referring to a poster/gun-grabbing spammer whose post was deleted.

Very nice. I see that they featured one with an Xrail - double plus good. Congrats on your new acquisition.

922r, the new Benelli H2O, questions...and an answer?
Sukhoi_fan replied to Unobtanium's topic in Benelli
What a complete load of horse hockey. A semi-auto with a 'collapsible' (not really as it only telescopes in about 5.5") stock and a hi-cap mag is available simply because it's been (re-)'manufactured' by a 'licensee' yet if some private party fails to dot their i's and cross their t's while matching the exact same configuration currently commercially available then they are subject to being charged with a felony. Bizzarro world!
