The description just says Super 90, nothing specific about the M4. Plus I don't see threads on the cap end, although the other end looks like it'd work.

That's great news, I would definitely get one at that price.

I doubt we'll ever see a $300 substitute (or even less than $500) for the factory collapsible stock due to the large investment required to get something like that going (in the $50k range, if not more). Even that shorter LOP fixed stock Mesa Tactical is working on looks like it will cost in the $500 range.

Be advised that Benelli no longer supports the SL80 aka the 121 in the way of spare parts. I suggest you take that into account with respect to the 'value' of the piece in question.

The Tacstar extension only adds one round, not two - I have one which came with my M4. I suggest you get a Dave's Metal Works +2 extension ($75) if you want to be able to get it back to 922® compliance quickly and easily, or if you want a more permanent solution there are the various full length tubes from Dave's Metal Works (only $60), SOCOM guy, and the elusive titanium fl tube from Kip. As for the side saddle arrangement, my M4 had one of those on there when I got it but I find it way to bulky for my tastes. I use one of those elastic buttstock sleeves which hold 5 rounds.

He never fired this M4 so it's had 6 rounds inserted into it one time - it's essentially new. I'm going a different route on my extra ammo and therefore I don't need this side shell holder. The question I have is: Does the PG/collapsible stock combo count as one or two imported items whereas the fixed stock with the PG counts as only one?

I have a S90 M1 buttstock here on my desk (it also fits the M3 from what I gather) and I can tell you there's no way to get it to work on the M4. I don't even think serious butchery to it would come close to working, and it's a synthetic stock. Wood would be even more difficult, IMO. Like I posted earlier, perhaps you can get a cu$tom 'one-off' made up. I see that as your only alternative.

Be generous with the lube on all moving parts especially the bolt carrier group (including rails and link pin at rear of bcg) EXCEPT the pistons, then go enjoy.

I've had no less than 6, 4 of which a buddy and I built up on Eagle Arms (Armalite) lowers using mil spec parts (as in not commercial).
