  1. I want to have my black Vinci dipped with Mossy Oak Duck Blind. Here in Texas, we have early teal season in September when the mosquitos are thick. I use a deet solution to keep them off. I hear that deet will harm the camo finish. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    vinci help

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who finds it difficult.
  3. What barrel length on the Monte feels more balanced to you? 24" or 26"?
  4. I have had very good luck with Black Cloud using IC choke.
  5. If mounted properly, the Vinci will shoot dead on. A little work @ the pattern board will prove that! I love my Vinci. I have a black one with 26" barrel. It is very well balanced and jumps to my shoulder with ease. I can't say enough good things about this gun.

    SBE 2

Unless you need the ability to shoot 3.5" shells, I strongly recommend that you take a look at the Vinci.

    Whoa Nelli!

Is the new release a 28ga auto?
  8. Life is too short to be shooting a gun that may be "good enough" but is not really a gun that you love to shoot. Save up for a Benelli (M2, SBE II, Cordoba or Vinci)! I love my Cordoba!!!
  9. IMO, the benelli ciro factory chokes work as good or better than any after market choke. If you don't belive me, take your gun to the patterning board and test your factory chokes. My IC & Mod chokes shoot a beautiful pattern at 30 yards with Kent #3 steel.
  10. I don't know but I have the 20ga with a 28in barrel and it's an awesome shotgun! I use it for doves and waterfowl.
  11. Bad things about the SBE II? Please tell.
  12. I love the looks of the Sport II 12ga. If I had the money to spend, I would buy one! I have a benelli cordoba 20ga and I can tell you that the cordoba is one fine gun.
  13. Wow, that would be a great deal! I like the looks of the M2 American.
  14. I've been dove hunting multiple times in Texas since Sept. 1st with my new cordoba 20ga. This is an awesome gun for doves. It is simply amazing how quickly you can get back on target if you miss on the first shot. The recoil with 7/8oz target loads is almost non-existent. I've shot about 15 boxes of shells so far with no jamming issues whatsoever. If you have any doubts about this gun, put them aside and go get it. You will not regret it! I'm going to use the cordoba for teal this weekend.
  15. Awesome show. I've enjoyed all of the episodes so far.
  16. How does he like the gun? I've been attracted to a camo model that they have for sale at Gander Mtn.

    Cordoba?

I just bought two cases of B&P F2 Classic 20ga shells for my cordoba and I'm very anxious to give them a try on the doves! September 1st is just around the corner!!!
  18. Dove season starts September 1st in Texas. The whitewing numbers are excellent this year. If the weather stays hot and dry we should have an excellent opening week! I can't wait.

  20. Take a look at the Galco recoil pad. It's a slip on but it's made out of very nice leather. I have two of them which I use on my 12ga Beretta 391 and on a 28ga 870 pump. It matches the walnut wood nicely.

    Cordoba?

Yes they are! 12 gauge & 20 gauge. I have the 20 ga. Awesome gun.
  22. I don't have either gun but I do have a 20ga Cordoba and I live this gun. I have a Beretta 391 that I use for duck hunting but this year I'm going to use the 20ga for ducks. This summer I patterened the hevi-shot 20ga 3" 1 1/4 oz loads with the Cordoba using the IC choke. What a beautiful pattern at 35 yards!! I would recommend the 12ga Cordoba in Max 4 which is a beautiful gun.
