  1. glad to help, it took forever for me to find one too. This is a nice part, well machined, great fit... no fantastic fit! and they were able to cut the checkering/knurling in the Ti very sharp (thats no small accomplishment). It didn't effect the cycling of my M1 either, which is a big plus I ran some malfunction drills and I was amazed at how easy everything feels compared to stock. I'd like to replace the bolt release button for the same reason.
  2. Here you go, I have one and it is FIRST CLASS! It fits better than the factory unit and is easy to operate. I am going to bead blast and coat mine black but man this thing rocks for malfunction drills. http://www.kytactical.com/progressive_machine/Product.html#5
  3. FWIW, I painted the end of mine with some day-glow orange. Easy to identify it clear now. The nova's came with a factory red piece.
  4. I have a Nordic Components +2/3 magazine extension Brownells says it fits: " Benelli fits M1/M2, Super Black Eagle & Super Black Eagle II. " The guy I bought it off of said it was a +2 extension, but I measured against my factory benelli (it was an exact match in length) and I am getting +3 in my tube. So I will officially call it a +2, but I'd be shocked if you can't get 3 more shells in with right spring length. The spring is included. It is in like new condition with just some slight handling marks. No huge logo on this one which gives it a nice factory look. You can get spare "tubes" from Nordic to make it longer or shorter depending on your needs. Brownells wants $79.95+shipping. I will take $60 shipped. Paypal as a gift to avoid scrutiny of their anti-gun policy. Or USPS Money order.

    M&P

M&P, Glock, and XD's are all great guns. Personal preference is key here. Its like asking whats better Coke or Pepsi or Mtn. Dew (personal favorite). I have owned all 3 brands. M&P 9mm, Glock 19, and a XDm 9. Right now I only have one a g19... so thats my vote. The 17 is a classic, you can't go wrong. The M&P is a great gun, unless I was gonna' shoot IDPA/IPSCA or race the gun, I wouldn't go for the pro. The full size is an excellent overall size. I prefer the G19 size for general purpose.
  6. I just found this locally if you want it. I have an extra forend if you want to complete the set, shoot me a PM. No affiliation with the seller. http://www.cologunmarket.com/mkt/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=18970
  7. The B&C will work fine, but it is pricey. Do you have a pistol grip stock? If so, guys often want to swap for the regular setup. Drew
  8. I got one last year off ebay for about $40 bucks.

    WTB M1 Stock

I watched Ebay for a few weeks and got one there. Also if you post up a trade over on ar15.com's equipment exchange you will get some hits as your PG stock is quite popular with the "tactical" crowd.
  10. I use the Brownells.com website to cross reference a few manufacturer's numbers to see what is compatible sometimes. Try the Nordic Components tubes to see if you get a match.
  11. I bought the VooDoo based on price alone. It has held up WAY BETTER than my expectations. It handles a lot of gear and is comfortable to the places I hike into to shoot at. I'd buy another tomorrow.

    Freedom.

Lets be careful not to lump all police officers into the no-brains, freak out around guns, fill you with bullets kind of folks. Its the laws and law makers who are to blame, not those who so bravely enforce them. I'm tired of folks pointing the fingers at the wrong folks. Give a cop a break.
  13. Gotta' give a shout out for the Benchmade Rukus Full size for an all around outdoorsman knife. Big, beefy, folder, that works like a fixed blade. In fact, I sold all my fixed blades when I started using my Rukus 615. They are discontinued now so get them while you can. One more plug, best deals and service I have found in my knife collecting is www.knifeworks.com Roger is the man!
  14. You will want the Wolf +25% power spring for the M1. Man, it was the best money spent on my gun. It cycles everything I feed it now. There is a reduced power spring as well for light loads but I wouldn't recommend it for your class. I would recommend the following before taking an M1 to the class: 1. Figure out which ammo works 100% in your gun. I'd buy a box of full power loads in birdshot (1oz and great works in my Benelli M1) 00 Buck (mine likes federal) and slugs (all slugs seem to work in mine). 2. Pattern your gun. 3. Make sure you have the right chokes with you for the class (see number 2). 4. I would add a side saddle shell carrier. Mine is a Mesa 6 rounder. 5. I would add a larger charging handle, but try not to add weight with it. Mine is titanium from Precision machine and tool http://www.kytactical.com/progressive_machine/Product.html#5 this is the best addition to my gun for my user control. 6. I would have a good sling, if the intstructors recommend it. I would run a single or two point but not a three point. Have fun, let us know how it goes. Here is mine, charging handle wasn't installed:
  15. I'd give you $500. Seriously, the M3 is a nice gun and in good condition should bring 600-1000 depending on condition? Got pics?

    M1 Super 90

Any M1 for $600 is a great deal. I wouldn't hestitate to use one hunting or clays. I will suggest a Wolf Power +25% spring to ensure you get it cycling on all your loads. Jump on that one bud.

    SBE 1 Question

Brownells carries all the factory parts... well most of them. Look on the side bar to the left at the bottom and you will see a link for schematics. While you are there pick up a Wolf Power Spring (+25%) now mine eats everything I feed it from bird shot to the heavy stuff. Hope it helps.

    SBE II Sling

I am looking into the VTAC padded 2 point sling. They seem robust and well made.
  19. Thats cool to hear, I have handled a Vinci at the local store and it really is a nice gun. I have no use for it, but it was nice.
  20. Yeah, thats what I figured. Hoping for one more option, but Dave's might be the only show in town.
  21. Thanks, that is the Dave's metal works one as well. I appreciate it though. Anyone else? This may be my only option. Drew
  22. I would like to add a big head/mushroom top style safety to my Benelli M1. I only know of Dave's metal works. Are there any other options before I dive in? Thanks in advance- Drew
  23. Read the posts, someone mentioned the brand, and I believe it is a screw in choke that extends to what you see. Shouldn't be a hard thing for anyone to do. Have fun, stay safe.
