The last one I saw was new-in-bag and sold for ~$300. To be clear, they were ~$35 new when they were in production. This is far and above the going rate but, if enough people pay the price, then it will be the new going rate. They are extremely rare, especially new, but I don't think there are that many enthusiasts to support such a high price.

Someone is selling a geissele hammer for 1,700 on gun broker. Is this the going rate?

Saying "Someone" is far too kind. I think that I paid about sixty bucks for mine from Brownells about 4 years ago. That's what the thing is worth. About 60 bucks.

Humanity never disappoints.:(
