  1. I have started to email out to the waiting list to purchase. I will give a few days for waiting list emails to purchase on a private link, after that I will open up purchases to all.

  2. I’m not worried about losing a few pennies on the dollar. I just didn’t know why the total ended up being a little more. Then I figured it out. Not a big deal. I was more concerned with the other scenario. It looks like a great handle!

  3. Yes PayPal is a rip off I’m trying to find another way, but I’m a small time guy and PayPal provides shipping and e commerce in one package which makes things very streamlined for me. I’m sorry the conversion sucks.

  4. That midway link is for the recoil spring. So shorter, even shorter than a 5 round factory magazine tube.

  5. ? I know, I felt VERY lucky. I've been lurking here and reading a lot of stories of this thing not coming off so I was prepared for the worst. Bought a gun vice grip and everything went smoothly. There was really not much locktight on it luckily.

  6. Blow dryer for 15 minutes? Wow OP you got lucky. I needed an active volcano and the arm strength of Kong.

  7. Looks good, works great on the M3. Lower 1/3 co-witness with the ghost ring with the straight stock, pistol grip stock, and the collapsible. If I can see through the ghost ring, I can see through the RMR.

  8. Try to even out the gap between the side of the IWC mount. It looks like one side bolt was tightened fully. You want it to have a similar sized gap on both sides.

  9. Seems like a rare “if” event.

  10. Well guys and gals, it looks like it’s going to work. I got the Truckee installed today, but I couldn’t find my Streamlight ProTac HL-X. It looks like it should clear it with the scout mounting. But I’ll report back with pictures of that, worst case I’ll have to install the 1913 pic rail I’ve got with my IW mount.

  11. Yes. At least loosen the clamp. I haven’t taken it down yet though.

  12. Just some more info, the change occurred before A&S brought their metal trigger guard to market. There is some confusion when doing some cross compatibility on the M3 since it is so old. The earliest H&K M3s barely have any compatible parts. Here's one of the earliest pictures I have when the trigger guard changed from Shot Show 2013: You can see right below the M3 Shorty is the M2 Tactical. Some time at this point, the Benelli M3 was updated with the rear furniture from the M2. The plastic trigger group no longer locked into the grip unlike the alloy trigger group. If you look on Midwest Gunworks, sometimes you see parts cutoff at a certain serial number. This also applies to the Montefeltro & Raffaello where the name stays the same but the gun gets changed. What is also more confusing is that the American Raffaello is called the Ethos; but then there are Raffaellos that are basically Super Black Eagles. Two guns called Raffaello, but not much is interchangeable apart from the bolt group, some trigger parts, and barrel. Hopefully whoever finds this on google can make use of this info.

  13. Thank you for replying. As It would happen Brownells finally re-stocked the day after I posted and the mount has now been ordered.

  14. Several reasons... 1) the AR love was driven hard by GWOT. GWOT is winding down. 2) Market saturation. The AR market is saturated to the point of absurdity. Look at Aridus Ind and FFT. They have niched their way into mainstream by supporting solidly the shotgun market. I bet neither could have even touched the AR market with this level of success. 3) Democrats are in power and people want something 50 state legal or future proofed or maybe even their local laws have shafted them.
