The ding you showed me would not simply "stop", if it were a result of bolt meets ejector housing during proper function. I think it was a red herring, and properly cleaning/lubing/knocking down some high spots in the ano/phos are what met with success. Regardless, she is working right, now!
Just curious, are you pushed past the detent in the bolt handle? You can over insert the handles since there isn’t a stop present that limits the depth. When you rotate the handle, you should feel it engage and disengage the three notches on the handle.
This will sound like sacrilege; but I like the new TTI bolt handle better than the Carriercomp one I had. It’s cheap and doesn’t have knurling that can chew up you hand if you’re moving fast. It’s easy to get. I like how the TTI one now locks into place and doesn’t rotate, it’s actually difficult to remove from the bolt. The serrations are biased on certain sides to only provide traction where it’s beneficial. Since the handle is fixed in orientation, it always remains the same.
