  2. For Sale: ( 1 ) Like-New and authentic Briley 3 Gun M-LOK 8" Handguard for the Benelli M4 Semi-Auto 12ga Shotgun (SKU: HAN-M4BENBLK8). This handguard will fit on either M4's or M1014's without any modification, and this particular 8" model will work with factory forward sling loops (unlike the 13" model). I'm listing this handguard as "Like-New" as it was briefly installed on what was going to be a 3 Gun project but I'll keep my M4 as is for HD duties. This handguard is perfectly functional in it's operation & installation, and has no damage whatsoever to it. The handguard is made of 6061 aluminum, is hard anodized flat black, is 8" long and weighs just 9.5 oz. The design of this handguard has 35 full size M-Lok attachment slots to allow for accessory mounting, and is one-piece that installs directly in place of the factory forend with no modifications to the shotgun. The handguard slides over the magazine tube and into the factory forend retainer, then the barrel is placed installed as per normal. The handguard is retained between in the same two locations as the factory split forend. (USA made and counts towards 922(R) Compliance) Please see attached pictures, as well as the handguard's original website for more details: https://www.briley.com/p-63643-briley-3gun-m-lok-handguard-benelli-m4.aspx My asking price for this handguard is only $250 to include secured shipping with tracking from here in GA to anywhere in the U.S. (NO overseas). Method of payments are PayPal (F&F), U.S. Money Order, or certified bank draft/cashier's check (no trades please). Let me know if there are any questions or concerns, as I can be reached via PM or in this posting. Many more pictures are available and more pictures can be posted as requested, so please let me know what I can do to assure you are confident in your purchase. Thanks for looking, and stay safe out there.

  6. The rotating buttstock serves a purpose, it has a stationary pin that does not move, this pin is bullet proof when it comes to handling recoil and buttstock strikes. an AR-15 style buttstock only point of contact would be the retractable pin if I am not mistaken. IMO this is a weaker design for a shotgun. The M4 buttstock and recoil tube is a much stronger design. I would imagine the reason clones only use an AR15 style is because of the cost of making the Benelli aluminum cast/milled buttstock and recoil tube was probably too much $.

  8. That’s awesome. Glad it’s working out. Keep an eye on it as you put more rounds down range and look for that weird wear pattern to show up on the Benelli extractor. If it starts getting bad and causing issues, it may be the bolt head itself is out of spec and allowing the claw to move around too much. At that point, I’d then see if a Benelli bolt head would fit in the clone. Unfortunately that won’t be a cheap part to purchase.

  9. I would assume its because the 1301 is not marine proof like the m1014 is.

  10. I am also wondering this. I just re-qual'd on the M1014 about 3 months ago. Haven't heard anything about the 1301 coming to us.

  11. Have you shot a 1301T? There are many that owns both the M4 & 1301T including me, most of us love the M4 mostly because of what it represents which is a proven tool in battle. A high percentage of M4 owners haven't done several days in a row course or even shoot it enough to justify the cost of this beauty. Over a 2 or 4 day 8 hours a day course it will start to feel heavy. I've done several courses when the temp feels hot as heck I prefer the 1301T because is lighter.

  12. My M4 can be particular about lighter loads. I’m not sure it’s totally broken in yet. How many rounds does that take on average? Anyways, it is perfectly reliable with ammunition for which it was designed. God forbid I’ll ever have to actually use this gun in battle, but if I do, I won’t use the cheap Walmart target load if I can help it, lol. It stays cruiser ready with 00 buck in it. The 1301 has not failed once. I fully trust both of these shotguns. It’s great to own things that work.

  13. These are both fantastic shotguns. One does not replace the other. I’m fortunate to have both. The Magpul stock is mounted with a GG&G adapter. It works nicely. I think the Aridus adapter looks cleaner, but I couldn’t find it in stock at the time.

  14. Thanks. I highly recommend installing the Beretta 1301 pro lifter. The difference is it keeps the lifter up and out of the way. Makes reloading super easy.

  15. It’s a MOA Precision clamp. I don’t need a QD or Pic rail on my clamp so wanted a minimal one that doesn’t touch the barrel.

  16. I enjoyed Mike’s review of both M4 and 1301. With Limbsaver pads on both, recoil isn’t bad on either. I love both of mine. Wonder why there’s so much shotgun love lately.
