You tell him, Jr. I don't have the heart to do it

I'd do a car shaped like a beetle

I don't know about that. It is interesting. I'll have to wait for my daughter to get home so she can read the site to me.

If it had to be either one or the other, I'd choose the layout boat. You gotta be where they are before any gun will be of use to you.

This year could be another season like 1998 through 2000

Perhaps. I'd like to see more restrictive baiting laws to keep the birds moving, instead of hanging up for months at flooded grain fields. -
Well, one just showed up

I've had very good luck with Kent Fasteel.

It was like every good line in "The Holy Grail". You know the words. You know the timing. You know it's coming. But it's still funny .

I call that having fun! That's my kind of sporting clays

I don't think it's the loads, and I doubt there's a cleaning issue if you are as experienced as it sounds like you are. There are some sharp guys on these forums with the M4/M1014's, and I'm sure some of them will step in and give you some solid pointers. Meanwhile you may want to search the archives here and on shotgunworld.com for "M1014 problems". Here's one such result that may be relevant... and intelligible.

Battle scars? Cook it well done, should be fine

For the record, I didn't say don't get a Benelli. I said don't get an Inertia Benelli . M4 is a whole different animal.

Yesterday was graduation day at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University). My daughter and her boyfriend (since 10th grade) both graduated with honors and majors in German and Physics, respectively. Both are attending grad school in the Fall. Brandon chose to attend graduation, while my daughter Erica chose to wait until she got her masters to do the big show. VCU handed out 3,363 diplomas yesterday. Both Brandon and Erica were in the top 1% of their class. That means that two graduates of the local public school system accounted for 6% of the top 1% (2 of 34) of the VCU graduating class of 2007. Not bad for a rural public school system. Not bad at all. Both students are the first in their families to receive a college diploma.

1. Yes, but there's a but...and it's a big one. I personally wouldn't rely on an Inertia gun for personal protection in bear country. The Intertia bolt does not "lock up" in a traditional sense. It can and will rotate slightly out of battery if bumped the right way. This will lead to a misfire. It happens in the duck blind and it's annoying. Bit if it happens in a life and death situation, you're not going to be back on here complaining about it. 2. Yes. I believe you can go up to 11 or 12 rounds, but 4-7 rounders are more common.

No, but I have posted the military's guide in PDF here before. I'll see if I still have it.

Here are the others. I think I like the desert pattern second to the tri-color.

That's a photoshop I posted here a while back. Now you've got me wondering if someone at Benelli didn't take a little more than a passing interest in it. Oh well, I'm sure the check's in the mail I did some other designs as well. I'll post them tonight.

Differences: Comfortech Stock Gelpad Airtouch grips Stainless recoil system Crio treated barrels and exteneded choke tubes Run two or three boxes of heavy field loads at a minimum. About 30 rounds of 3.5" heavy loads will do nicely too. After the break-in rounds, disassemble and clean the gun thoroughly per my guide. Oh, almost forgot. !!!!!! ??????

My farthest deer kill with a smoothbore slug is 125 yards. Ample penetration at that range. I did shoot a turkey at close to 250 with a slug, but there was some luck involved in that one. Severed his neck just below the head. Smoothbores, with the right slugs, can be quite accurate.

I've never used their slugs, but they used to make some darned good rifle ammo. Cheaper in price only.

You're smarter than you look

Here's mine

It would be close. Ideally, you'd look at the load data and try to reload with a muzzle velocity as close as possible to that of the factory loads. With standard Leupold turrets you'll need the Stoney Point Target Turret adapter. It's mentioned on the site.
