  1. I was more than a bit apprehensive about clicking on this one, given your recent love affair with the guns and pictures.
  2. You sure have been spoiling a good bit of fun lately.

    Which Gun

That would be an excellent starter gun for you. Everyone should learn to use a pump and then move up to a semi-auto later if they feel the need. It's like learning to drive a stick shift.

  5. Take the gun to the nearest home center or Wal-mart. They have computer color matching and can fix you right up!
  6. Of course, mine was at 500 yards. What distance were yours?
  7. edit/ Tired of this fool. Not wasting anymore of my time on him.
  8. Ahhhh.. I suspect you are correct, your oldness. 46M & 45G
  9. 33A & 34A?
  10. Darn! That makes my 5 shot group from my 22-250 look pretty bad.
  11. Some of the parts may be interchangeable with current or previous models, but the line has been replaced. You can always check with Franchi/Benelli if and when you need a part, but as is the case with all guns, one day parts may not be available for it.
  12. Sorry, but logic has no place in this discussion. You'll have to leave.
  13. Yes. He was supposed to toss the flash bang into the room. Instead, he dropped it on their side of the door and slammed the door closed.
  14. Supernova has a removable stock and I assume it's also adjustable for cast and drop. The original nova has the one piece stock/receiver - no adjustment.

  16. No, but I keep a FAQ of bookmarks. Here's an unrelated one, but you may still find it helpful if you shoot a rifle too.
  17. I always do it after exposing the gun to wet conditions. They are not bulletproof. They are great machines, but they're still machines, and maintenance is required.
  18. You should probably do a complete disassembly and thorough cleaning after hunting poor conditions. That includes the magazine tube, trigger group, bolt group, and the recoil assembly (from inside the stock). Use a mositure displacing spray like WD-40 or carb and choke cleaner, blow dry with compressed air, lube liberally with CLP, and wipe down to a film. On the recoil spring assembly, press the plunger in and flush the assembly with WD-40 or other cleaner. Then blow it out, lube it, and wipe dry. Make sure that the bolt group is fully disassembled and that the internals of the assembly are cleaned and lubed properly. Most is covered in my cleaning guide, but you'll have to go a bit further than what's covered in the guide, due to the exposure to moisture and dirt.
  19. Did the failures begin after the recent cleaning or before it? Had the gun been successfully fired and operable prior to this outing, and not cleaned since the prior outing?

    Duracoating

    Paisley is for real men!
  21. It's a shotgun. The beads aren't designed to be accurate with slugs at 100 yards. Put a scope or red dot on it, or at least adjustable sights.
  22. No.............
  23. Very nice, sir! Now how about some details on the new rig?
  24. It's the Gaymaster 2000!
  25. No. You can get the black model in the standard length.
