  1. The SBEII pad is the same pad. Dealers should be able to get them fairly easily.

You've obviously looked at GunsAmerica.com, because Eurojerk was the best listed price there. I suggest using the Dealer Locator from this site and calling the dealers within 150 miles of your home. It's not as easy as typing in a search, but it can yield results. It is how I found my LH SBEII last Fall. Not knowing which part of NC you're in, I know that Davi's Guns in Raleigh has a good reputation. I've also dealt with a small shop in Henderson, called Gupton's Sporting Goods. If you're going to order a gun that isn't in stock, make the dealer give you a firm delivery date. Otherwise, it could be next Fall before you get delivery. Going back to online sources, Cal's Sporting Armory has a good rep., and they list a 30" Cordoba for $1439

John, Thanks for sharing your expeiences with this company. From the looks of his website, all of his stuff is overpriced and catered to sell to snobs, so it would be unlikely that I'd buy from him. I'd have to wonder how much of his high rent overhead I'm subsidizing with a purchase. I doubt that reporting him to Benelli would do any good, but then again, it couldn't hurt either. Start with the general contact information from this site. Don't bother with e-mails. You never know if someone sees them. Make a call.
  4. Glad that's solved! I don't know why mudhen couldn't figure it out
  5. Insert a soft rubber O ring as shown. I put a small amount of choke tube lube on the side facing the forearm nut (146W). This maintains a spring-like tension that keeps it from working its way loose under recoil and temperature changes. [ 09-29-2005, 03:43 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  6. Looks like Paula will be hearing from me tomorrow Thanks for the pic!
  7. www.gunsamerica.com There are several on there at this moment.
  8. Thanks... already had it She's by far one of the best they have.
  9. The IC choke will shoot ANY buckshot or slug with no problems. The best accuracy with slugs will be acheived by using rifled slugs designed to be used in smooth bore guns. In anticipation of your next question, regarding which slugs to use; that information is available from ammunition manufacturers' websites, literature, gun shop counters (not 19 & 91 yr. olds at the Wal-Mart), gun club members, friends who know what they're doing, etc. DO NOT use the weapon without the choke tube installed. The threads will be damaged, thus precluding the use of choke tubes in the future.

Or click the "search" link above and type in M2000, choosing Stoeger as the forum in which to perform the search. [ 09-28-2005, 05:27 AM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]

    R1 TRIGGER

The handbrake on my Toyota pulls easier too
  12. The differences between the two are covered in a previous discussion. Do you have access to the Cordoba model?
  13. A manual for your shotgun is available from the Benelli, Italy site. http://www.benelli.it/Home.asp?Lan=EN click "Customer Service" click "Owners Manual" The information you seek is on page 98.
  14. garren, You should not post Paula's e-mail address directly to these forums. Spammers use bots to harvest such addresses from web sites and forums, and your post exposes hers to them. Out of respect to her, you should edit the post and remove the address. I'd like to see a picture of that spring nut when you get it. As mentioned above, mine does the same thing, and I may want to request one as well. Thanks for sharing the information!

    R1 TRIGGER

No. The trigger is a bit heavy, but it's not adjustable and there is no aftermarket trigger for the R1. Benelli has seen numerous posts on this, so hopefully they are taking steps to at least lighten it somewhat. Obviously, they are going to keep safety first and foremost in any trigger design, and one slam fire from a semi-auto can cripple a gunmaker in liability. It would be completely at your own risk, and would obviously void all warranties, if you decided to have some stone work done by a skilled and competent gunsmith.
  16. FROOGLE it
  17. From the gear I'm seeing, you were hunting the fields. We've been hunting the backwaters of Gaston Lake, because they've been shifting fields almost daily. It's been one of the hottest Septembers I can ever recall here in Southern VA. Been painfully dry too. I'm hoping November goes to the other extreme.
  18. You're towards the high end of the scale for Red Dot, so you should have no problems at all.
  19. Great picture! Our season was misearable because of the heat, but we did manage to get 4 Saturday.
  20. Unscrew it, all as one assembly.
  21. ace123, Your first post didn't mention that the gun was left-handed. That would have been helpful information up front. [ 09-26-2005, 11:11 AM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  22. Use the search feature on these forums. It's been brought up before. One such discussion points to one made by T&S Industries, which requires some modification.
