The rib on my 2004 SBEII is .312" 5/16" = .3125", so it would fit my gun with room to spare. Anyone with an M2 got a set of calipers?

Kids do grow fast at that age.

No need to post the question anywhere else. I read them all. Benelli shotguns like to be sighted slightly differently than do most American made guns. A typical sight picture for a Benelli has the target fully visible above the front bead. The mid bead should be just beneath the front bead, forming a figure 8 image. Covering the target simply doesn't work well with most Benellis. As for right and left, that can be adjusted with changes in the cast plates, but I'm not sure they'll help you if you're already aiming the gun instead of pointing it. If you really need a shotgun that is to be aimed, instead of instinctively pointed, then I suggest using and adjustable aftermarket sight or low power optic.

Fits what?

I had a Drake Waterfowl MST jacket that I've used for two full seasons. Late this year, the zipper started coming apart. I e-mailed Drake and asked if I could send it in for repairs. They asked me to call and discuss with one of their guys. I called him and he got some information on the coat model and style. He took my CC number and told me that a replacement coat was on the way. They billed me for the new coat, but issued a FULL credit upon receiving my old one back. I got the coat last week and I received a credit memo yesterday! I was out a few dollars shipping, and that's it! GREAT Company! I strongly recommend them for all of your waterfowl apparel!

What she was telling you is that Benelli will stand behind their products, regardless of its age. They always have done this. Normal wear and tear or abuse are not going to be covered, but a manufacturing defect is something they feel strongly about. They will fix it if it has broken through no fault of the customer. This is not a written policy, but it is an unwritten philosophy, and an attitude towards making a great product and standing behind it.

LOL! I motion we get his nickname changed from M1014 to "The Curator".

Looking for advice on becoming a waterfowler

Stoegers are a gamble. Some work. Many don't. M2 or SBEII.... or wait and see what the Vinci is all about. Richmond isn't far from me. There are no ducks in VA. You'll need to go out of state to get a shot. -

Then the Non-Immigrant section may be exactly what you're looking for. If I'm reading it correctly, all you need to show is proof of ID and a valid hunting license for the State in which you will be using the guns. I'll check into in more depth and let you know.
-
Personally, no. But I have a guy in Pennsylvania who can turn the tax codes into sheet music and play any song you like.
-
Hmmm... perhaps you should read the Non-Immigrant alien section. If they'll let you back into Canada with it, that may be your loophole.
-
If you are not going to transfer it, yes, you must be a US citizen. No felony convictions, no drug use, no restraining orders, no mental disorders. Here's the form http://www.atf.gov/forms/4473/index.htm
-
Not as a citizen of the US. You'd have to purchase it as alien and have the gun shipped to licensed transfer dealer in your country of origin.

The best way to determine a gun's true value is to put it up for sale or auction. You can look around on gunbroker.com and find guns like yours and see what they sell for. Right now, it's a seller's market for assault rifles and high capacity defensive shotguns. Sporting guns are not doing that well.

Is it legal to marry a matched set of Italian shotguns in Florida now?

I let the first one go, but I couldn't let two in a row slide by.

I think we're talking about a licensed technology, not a production contract.
