  1. Sometimes quick. Sometimes not so quick.
  2. http://www.benelliusa.com/customer-service/pdfs/Nova.pdf Heres the link. On the home page click Customer Service. Then click on manuals. Click Nova. 3 clicks total.
  3. I believe you'll have to order it through your dealer. I am not sure if you can order it directly from Benelli. I get all my parts through my dealer. Its simply easier for me that way. Or you can also get one here. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=980360&chrSuperSKU=&MC=
  4. Take out the trigger assy, remove the bolt and simply push them out from the inside out with preferably with a small punch if you want to try not to damage them or a small screwdriver.
  5. I am not sure I have never tried. I believe the barrels will fit. Not sure on the stock. You will have a hard time finding a ComforTech stock. You can't buy them from Benelli. Thats why you are not having any success finding one.
  6. No. They are different receivers.
  7. "Find a gun you like. Shoot it. Clean it. Learn it. Grow to love it, or try another one" Excellent advise Tucker! Couldn't have been said better! I too have also used the kings english on more than one BPS. Fairly simple design, but sometimes........ The Nelli's have us spoiled!
  8. There have been numerous threads here lately on this subject so I'm starting one to prove how many Benelli owners are satisfied and happy with their Nelli's, no matter which model/models of Benelli you may own. Please post only positve comments and stories of your guns and their operation only. If you only have negative items to post please start another thread or add to a current post. With over 7000 members here I'm sure there are more than myself and couple of dozen or so totally happy Benelli owners. I believe if most everyone will post their experiences here it will show the new buyer, Benelli hater, or what have you, most Nelli owners are more than happy. As always, you hear the complaints and not all thats good. Hopefully this post will end up with many pages of success stories. I believe it will. I own a SBE II, M4, Sport II and the newest 20 ga. Supersport. I can truely say I am totally happy and satisfied with all of them. A burp or two here or there over time. Yes. I have seen $10,000 guns do it also. I have been too busy lately to shoot the new SS but its coming soon and I'll post up when I do. I can't believe it will let me down. As a smith I buy what I work on the least and that would be the Benelli. Thanks Full Bore
  9. Otis325 You may have asked a legitimate question however, it seems you are asking for help deciding to buy or not buy a Benelli based on a few negative posts. I can tell you I've heard of Extrema's jamming and shooting to the left. It also seems that you expect absolute total reliability. That subject has come up here before may times. No shotgun maker or any other make or model of gun guarantee's total reliability. It is a machine made by man and is always subject to malfunction. That is the point brought up in this post by more than just Mudhen. I don't know and have never met Mudhen but I can tell you he has helped many people here and he is far from anti gun or anti hunting and very, very knoweledgable. He is direct, as are others on this forum. I did not take his first reply to you as insulting or degrading to you. Just direct. Actually your comments are much more direct. I own 4 Nellies including a SBE II and can report to you I have had no problems with any of them. Ever. Good Luck with whatever you decide on. Oh Well. Looks like I need to brush up on my typing speed skills a bit. [ 11-28-2006, 01:51 PM: Message edited by: Full Bore ]
  10. No argument here. I agree, but that seems to be the way it is at least for now. The front blade on the ghost ring sits much higher than the irons and is also wider. Not the same at all. I started with an M2 Tactical but that changed after I laid eyes on my M4. Enjoy your new Nellie. I love all 4 of mine.
  11. Unless you can find a factory mag extention on ebay or somewhere you can't get one from Benelli. They can't sell or import them. You'll have to get one from SureCycle or Tacstar. Here’s a link. http://surecycle.com/?page_id=3&parent_id=0&AddCategoryId=30 As for the ghost ring you’ll have to have a dealer order it for you. What barrel do you have? If you order a sight you will only get the rear assembly. For the front sight you will have to get a barrel with ghost ring Frt. sight. You can’t get the Frt. Sight separately from Benelli, its main bracket is not removable from the barrel and different from all other barrels.
  12. I believe the part you lost is the magazine follower by the way you describe it. It is #35 on the schematic. Brownells would probably be the fastest. Heres the link. http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/schematics/schemmfg.aspx?schemid=506&m=1&mn=Benelli+U.S.A.%c2%ae&model=Nova+
  13. No. Although I tend to agree with you, the M4 is a tactical gun and 18" is the only barrel option. If you want an auto loader with a 24" rifled barrel you'll have to get an M2 or SBE II. You could get a rifled choke tube for your M4.
  14. The Sport II just happened. The 20ga SuperSport was a had to have. I haven't had time to run it through its paces yet. Isn't that sad? With deer shotgun week starting sat. the shop has been jambed full for the last month leaving me little time to play. Ouch! As always everyone waits till the last minute. But it gives me more cash for more toys. When things calm down for me I'll post up on how the SS fares at clays.
  15. No, SBE II barrels won't work on an M2. The receivers are totally different. I believe the stocks will, however it will be difficult to find a comfortech stock. By the time you buy a barrel and stock I think you would be farther ahead to simply buy a field M2. I've kind of been down that road already. Thats why I now own a M4,SBE II, Sport II and a 20ga SuperSport. One can never have too many Nellies!
  16. Tucker is correct and it appears I am too poor to even pay attention. 3/4" wide would definately be huge. Are you sure of your measurement or guesstimation? If that is it, post a picture if you can. Thats really the only way any of us could help with this one.
  17. I don't own an Ultra light but all my Nellie's are excellent for their intended purpose. What model Benelli do own now?I believe most everyone that owns one likes everthing about it but the recoil. If your sensitive to recoil it may not be for you.. I think some have also said the carbon fiber ribs have come loose on a few, can't say for sure. Why not use the search above? Its a new model as you know so you shouldn't have to look to far. Thats where I would start.
  18. Just to clarify it is the carrier latch spring and not the shell stop spring. Here is a schematic link. It is #15. t1h5t@3 is correct though that generally it is the only cone shaped spring found. http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/schematics/schemmfg.aspx?schemid=570&m=1&mn=Benelli+U.S.A.%c2%ae&model=Super+Black+Eagle+

    M4

I would say just buy it. The M4 is one awesome shotgun! If you worry about what others may say about reliability you will never find a manufacturer that can guarantee total reliability. I have had mine nearly a year and about 1000 rounds through it without one problem!! It will feed whatever I put in it. I don't know if it has a favorite load but it shoots Win Power Point slugs quite well along with Federal Tactical 00 buck. Any of the low power ammo may not always cycle so if you need to shoot that stuff, buy a pump. Maybe I'm just lucky but no problems with any of my Nelli's. Buying any Benelli is a good move.
  20. As soon as I can find find time to shoot it I'll try to post up. It feels great so I can't imagine being disappointed. (Probably shoots low and left and stovepipes) Jaquas price is $1469.00 for the 20 ga. SuperSport. Same as they sell the 12's for with the Cordoba's slightly less and the Sport II's are just over $1200 I believe. Call them for pricing. They are a very reputable Dealer. Here's their link again. Use the Search window for Benelli. http://www.jaquas.com/gunlist/NewArrivals.asp
  21. I believe the 20 ga's only come in 28". My 20 ga SS is 28" and up to now I've only heard of or seen 28's.
  22. I may not be understanding you correctly but if you work in a gun/tackle shop why wouldn't you trust the advise of your coworkers? Who are also hunters. Especially working for an employer that will cut you a deal. "So what im now wondering is if i did pick up the M2 would it be very reliable and worth every penny once it has been purchased?." If you are worried about reliability I am affraid no gun is 100% absolutely reliable. Semi Auto's ,O/U's, SxS's, pumps or single Barrels. They are machines made by man and can always be subject to a malfunction for many different reasons. I don't know of any gun maker that will guarantee total reliabilty. Only you can decide if its worth every penny. All my benelli's are to me and many of us Benelli owners have more than one. I now have four. M4, SBE II, Sport II and my newest baby a 20ga. SuperSport. So far, not one problem with any of them. I will tell you I have worked on far more Beretta's than Benelli's but they are both fine guns. Beretta' are also gas guns whereas Benelli's are inertia guns. Good Luck with your choice. I already told you what mine would be. [ 11-07-2006, 07:04 AM: Message edited by: Full Bore ]
  23. It comes in Wood, Black Comfortech and Camo Comfortech. Wood is wood. What you are calling comfort grip is part of the comfortech stock system and not part of the wood stocked models. It does show a black finish at the end of intro window on the site. It doesn't on the bottom of that page. Click the specifications tab and it will list all models and variations. Do you have a Benelli Dealer near you so you can see one? You really won't know untill you shoulder it for yourself, then make your decision.
  24. I would agree with Mark. An M2 would probably be the better choice for you for the game your after. I have a SBE II that I bought as the ultimate gun capable of what ever one puts in it. It has never missed a beat and at least for me you never know what game you may end up eventually hunting but you'll always be ready. Also at the time my dealer didn't have an M2 or I may have went that way. I don't regret buying the SBE II at all. Many like 26" barrels for hunting but as far as ballistic's go they are the same as a 28". Longer barrels give you a longer sighting plane which I prefer but you may not. If you are hunting brushy or wooded areas you may want the shorter barrel to avoid getting hung up in it and it looks like upland hunting is your main purpose. Point them all and see which feels the best to you. Camo finishes are basically a decal applied over the gun and can chip, fade or wear thin but any gun you use will show wear eventually. Cleanup may even be considered easier as you really only need to wipe the outside of a camo gun with a damp cloth and you must be careful with any solvents and chemicals. My SBE II is black so I am sure others will be able to tell you more about camo. As with any gun you must clean it after use. Good luck in your selection. You can't go wrong with a Benelli.
  25. I just wanted to let anyone know who may be looking for the new 20ga. SuperSport, Sport II, or Cordoba my local dealer just got his first shipment in and has them in stock. I have now added a 20ga. SS to my collection and can't hardly wait to shoot it. Here is the link to their site. They are a fine and well respected dealer. http://www.jaquas.com/gunlist/NewArrivals.asp The new arrival page comes up, scroll down to Sporting Clays guns and you'll see them. This page changes every 3 or 4 days so if you don't see them click the GunRoom tab on the top and use the search window for Benelli and you'll see their inventory. I can't seem to link it directly to the Benelli section but you'll figure it out. They are competetivly priced under MSRP which is the same as their 12ga. prices. I don't work there I just know many people are looking for them and they have them. Good Luck my Benelli brothers. [ 11-04-2006, 02:20 PM: Message edited by: Full Bore ]
