    Road Trip!

Went on a road-trip, hung out with friends, hiked some on my property (moving in a few months to the area, house in 1-2 years). Just some video for you guys...
  3. Just what the title says. $450 shipped conus. This is a new take off. It was test fired by benelli on the gun. It is great for those who have a limited edition m1014 but want a barrel that takes chokes, or to use for spare parts (or if you want to run the new Silencerco Salvo 12 on your M1014...). It is complete with pistons and gas caps, front sight. Sorry for lack of picture but it looks just like the next one. Retail is around $800. *if retrofitting an m1014, you will need current production hand guards from benelli or FFT. Otherwise it is direct fit. Payment is to be usps mo or personal check, mailed usps priority.
  4. Bumped at $165 shipped CONUS
  5. Just what it says. Un-used, LNIB. It's the muted one meant to match the OEM tube's color. $200 shipped CONUS Payment via USPS MO or personal check.
  6. Well, now I have encountered my first "red" formula Benelli. It is a LOT harder to remove. I think they were going for as close to permanent as they could get without JB Weld. Heat from my 1000W heat-gun has minimal effect (it turned about 1 rotation, and I broke the cheap strap-wrench from wal-mart, as well as tearing some callouses through gloves). A quality strap-wrench that can handle some real tq will be necessary. Benelli is wise to our ways! *I don't advocate a vice AND a strap wrench, it's just, I deadlift 315# raw for reps and my hands are fine. I've torn the living **** out of my hands trying to get this mag tube loose. I don't work in construction and don't have hands like a hobbit's foot, so the strap wrench, I recommend it for the sake of your own wellbeing if you are similar, lol
  7. How hard is it to just COPY the OEM dimensions. *sigh*
  8. They will just deny deny deny and politely offer a refund.
  9. Mine were more like 5:00/7:45. Barrel was returned.
  10. Says the report is around 135dB The action on an M4 is around 120dB My M4's don't sound 15dB quieter closing the bolt than my Benelli.
  11. I could not even pass an insulin needle through the ports. However, I COULD shine light through them VERY FAINTLY. I think the ports must be angled as they pass through the barrel/housing. They seem to line up, but the housing is off-center a bit from the front sight. SOMETHING is just crooked about this barrel and everything on it. Nothing huge, but it may or may not present a problem zeroing slugs. I've had a minor canted FSB do that before on another M4.
  12. Looks to me like several things on this barrel are crooked (the front-sight and barrel extension are also rotated at odds with each other, FSB crooked? Barrel extension on wrong? Who knows). It's getting returned. Nothing major, but for $800, anything wrong is major, in my book.
  13. Well, evenly. Not with one port further up the wall than the other. The FSP would be between them directly, not one port further off to one side.
  14. Okay...why? It's not for looks. ..logic? Also, who are you? Not being confrontational, just curious if you're a benelli employee/cs rep/engineer/etc
  15. Was curious if others notice this and it's normal, such as on an AR-15 where the gas-block has a large enough opening that the exact location of the hole in the barrel matters little, or not. Is yours perfectly centered, or a bit "off" (one hole further up the barrel wall than the other)?
  16. You need lockable. Contact your chosen airline for their regulations.
  17. Not a scam if an individual owned it. THat price is right for a 1.5 year wait. Adding 2 Form 4's makes it insane.
  18. What is the goal? Airline travel ? To and from the range? Shipping ?
  19. I'd get a Briley Speed Wrench. Back when I ran choked barrels on M4's, I loved them.

    MF-82 oil

So far it has made good on every promise for me, except out of my suppressed .22, the baffles of my spectre II don't just wipe clean.

I'd personally use FIREClean. My M1014 felt slickest with it, and it's gotten some very good T&E from 3-gunners, .mil, etc.

Just curious, but is there anything special about it, and have you called them yet?
  23. Just try half heartedly to take the recoil tube off. It's likely just fine.
