  1. Got mine in last night. What an outstanding revision this is. The machining and design input is outstanding. Capturing the foot of the light body of a IWC backbone is the best. It's not moving unless you want it to. I like the move to the MLOK rail rather than the picatinny rail. It's a lot more low profile for users who do not have anything to mount there. I'm going to build a few M600IB variable output lights together for these with a backbone replacement body. A McClickie tailcap will be needed. The shroud of a Scout light tailcap won't fit due to how close the light rides. It can be lathed off though.
  2. So much win, are you tired of winning yet? Praise KEK.
  3. Will do. IWC: The moderator is mostly AWOL here. They don't mind people advertising on here.
  4. I have one inbound from Impact Weapons for testing.
  5. Todd at FFT told me his hammers will be back in stock between Halloween/Thanksgiving tentatively.
  6. A challenger appears... http://www.impactweaponscomponents.com/product/multi-light-benelli-m4-mount-scout/
  7. All - FFT is back in stock on their triggers. Disconnectors have been in stock all along. Hammers are due in some time in October hopefully. Several other items like their titanium magazine tubes are back in stock.
  8. Welcome. Look into thr Ava Tactical light mount rather than the Surefire M80. It was discontinued for a reason. No matter what you do, it's an uncomfortable rail to hold onto compared to the OEM forend.
  9. I received some information about the Carriercomp tube markings; A couple of years ago we started stamping our tubes with "US" on the top line and then "titanium" on the second line, but BEFORE THEN we stamped them with "Made in USA" on the top line, and "titanium" on the second line.
  10. Thanks! Replied. The Briley unit appears to be proprietary between the Hammer/Disconnector/Trigger engagements. I doubt they play with others.
  11. Straight from Geissele this morning: The Benelli M4 hammers are out of production, and at this time we have no plans to do another run. We do appreciate our customers feedback however, and I will forward this to the appropriate parties for consideration.
  12. I know that Freedom Fighter Tactical is supposed to get their triggers back in stock at the end of this month. However, I'm not sure if that also applies to their hammers. I'm told Geissele has been discontinued. I just sent them an email to confirm this or to see when another production is slated. Another option is to get a Briley trigger setup. I'd gladly buy your FFT Trigger and disconnector for full retail if interested.
  13. It's an ITAR or Department of Commerce restricted item product. Simpson LTD in Illinois could handle the proper export permit for you for a fee. I use them all the time for my imports/exports since the licensing costs associated with the Department of Commerce are rather expensive and I don't import/export enough to justify the costs. Its an overly complicated ordeal that rapes with you a bunch of shipping, duties, taxes and aggravation. It'll take forever to get your items. Example, I brought in about 13 firearms from Germany. I started the import process in February or 2016. I just got them last month.
  14. The threading looks like a carriercomp unit to me. So does the DG color pattern. The FFT units don't match the barrel color very well.
  15. Like the title says, I'm interested in buying specific aftermarket items at retail pricing. I'm interested in the following parts; 1. Freedom Fighter Tactical Triggers 2. Geissele Hammers 3. Carriercomp top rails 4. Carriercomp bolt knobs (gotta try, right?) Will buy complete kits or large/small quantities.
  16. Good info. I will note that there have been cases where the barrels have been canted slightly causing the sight alignment issues. Users have sent the barrel assemblies back to Benelli and I believe they simply replaced the barrel rather than trying to make adjustments barrel extension.
  17. Carriercomp top rails are nice. I find the FFT version to be just as good. They're almost an exact copy of one another. I find this type of rail system to be a bit dated though. Most users are going with either a RMR or a Aimpoint T1 type optic. There are better optic specific rail options out there for those optic choices. You'll end up with a sight plain that matches the iron sights by using either a Scalarworks rail or a MI Aimpoint mount. Unless I had goals to mount some obscure optic or a NOG/Thermal device to the top of the M4, I don't see a point in them anymore other than cosmetics.
  18. I'm not a fan of the screws that hold the rear sight housing in place. You're extremely lucky if you don't break the cup tip off of the screws when unscrewing them. I run into this issue when I'm doing tear downs for Robar NP3+ refinishing. The best you can do is file off the break or replace the screw completely (they aren't cheap either.) They do not have loctite on them from the factory. When I reassemble, I degrease them with a Loctite brand primer, then apply blue 241 Loctite. No loctite is on the top rail receiver threads. I degrease, then use blue 243 on them, and torque them to 16-18 inch pounds. It's odd that the OP's M4 came like that. I've found the newer production M4's to have a much more difficult thread locker to break down with heat than the older ones.
  19. TTI stainless gets my vote if carriercomp cannot be found, which is never. I bought a carriercomp unit back when they sold them in like 2012. They are indeed excellent. I've tried to buy others from people, no one will give one up. I imagine a bunch of neckbeards are petting them in the dark calling it their precious. Carriercomp knobs must be made of mythril or something.
  20. Yeah, I did. I'll probably pick one up for my black M4. They're cheap too. They aren't in stock at the moment though. I didn't weight it when I had it, but I'd guess it is around the weight of stock. Probably no more than 15 grams.
  21. It's hit or miss with FFT. I usually recommend people just get the steel unit they sell. Steel seems more forgiving and durable than the titanium. I'm not sure if carriercomp will make any more either. Getting a stainless TTI unit seemed to be the best solution over just keeping the OEM one.
  22. I asked Briley on Facebook if the end user could do the installation. They said no.
  23. I don't, I compared it to one of my clients. It's a little longer than OEM I think, but not as large in diameter as one of the 1/2" units. Sorry, I was on vacation for the past week or so.
  24. Good choice with the shortened LOP stock. If I was going that route, I'd probably go with a field stock instead of a pistol grip. How do you plan to attach the rear sling point? Are you getting the QD only model of the blueforcegear sling? An option would be to put a Noveske adapter plate in the factory sling mount position. Your gunsmith should be able to get the stock apart successfully.
  25. The gold TiNi will keep you away! Thanks for the info. I'll see about getting a unit in hand.
