I actually prefer the 590 to the supernova. I went in the gunshop to buy a 590 and walked out with a Benelli M4. If they weren't having such a great M4 sale it would have been the 590.

Kip, could you come up with an estimate of the release of the charging handles? Not trying to be a pain but I've been holding out for one and I've got to get something relatively soon. I'll be honest, some of it is me being impatient for your quality parts but my funds are gonna be running real low soon and I'm under pressure to complete my M4 while the resources are still here. No hhhhhway. I don't think they issue novelty items to the US Military. When I'm out shooting targets in the back yard I have that baby extended to the fullest. But when I'm zombie hunting in the comfort of my own home I have it extended half mast. There's no way I'm gonna feel comfortable hunting zombies indoors with that stock extended. Half way though seems to be the perfect fit for those rainy days. Or when I'm home alone and I hear a peep in the darkness.

Where did you find federal for 175? I've been looking around for a good source for bulk ammo. The Rio 2 3/4" OO buck works great. I've only tried the low recoil, the only problem I had with them is that their length is slightly longer than normal so I could only fit 6 in the tube instead of 7. For just using them for targets, however, I don't see how that's an issue.

Talking about overkill!!! You would be doing the burglars a favor if you rigged an Atom Bomb to explode when the alarm is tripped. You better watch it, I'd hate to see the field day the bad guy's lawyer will have in court when the jury sees your extreme crime preventative measures. Why not just conjure up a demon straight from the pits of ****? That would be more humane!

Extend the stock all the way. Look at the recoil tube, you'll see 2 lines going around the tube like a ring I guess you can say. Push the button with your sore thumb and turn the top of the stock away from you,(this is assuming you're holding the gun on your right side), continue holding the button and slide the stock forward until the front-most edge of the stock is lined up on the line that's closer to the grip. This will be called "the line in front". Now straighten the stock and release your sore thumb from the button and give it a break. If that doesn't work then there's some supernatural forces at work here and you're gonna need an exorcism.

How is your X400? I noticed last night that my lens is cracking around the edges. That's hard to believe since it was fine before I went out back and fired a lousy 15 slugs at some cans. I'm careful with my gun and I know I didn't knock it on anything. The thing couldn't handle 15 2 3/4" Winchester slugs from Walmart?

Oh, and my wife refuses to shoot any firearms. She's the sissy. She won't even shoot my RWS pellet gun! So don't feel like a sissy, at least you were out there shooting, right?
