  1. That’s what I originally thought. It looks like copper anti seize. Of course it would have no place there. You know, it looks exactly like the bronze colored grease you find in a new Glock.
  2. Interesting. Maybe they are at capacity in terms of manufacturing.
  3. I've been trying to get an M600 backbone light body for almost 2 months. I know these are busy times for the industry but it seems like a long time for IWC. Normally I wouldn't be too concerned but when I emailed them about my order a couple weeks ago they never responded. I just simply asked if they received the order. I'm curious if the IWC folks are doing ok over there?

    Some R&D

It's interesting how everyone is tapping out the gas plug pins. When I compressed the springs my pins just fell out. No tapping needed. Maybe I compressed the spring more or perhaps it was due to the lack of carbon build up?
  5. With the new revisions and by the looks this is not a twist and pull to remove. Just push to the side and pull out for removal? Just received my silver version today. It seems nice and is a pretty close match to NP3.
  6. I’m using a new Benelli front sight nut when I add my night sights. The OEM nut is a lock type with the nylon insert. Any need to apply blue loctite or is using a new nut good enough? What’s everyone else been doing in regards to new nut/old nut and loctite?
  7. Does anyone have an approximate estimate on the torque value For the nut? Since I didn’t remove the nut myself I don’t have a feel for how much force it took to remove. I’m just trying to get an estimate so I can gauge by hand. I’m thinking 20ft lbs maybe?
  8. I'm comfortable with it. It looks good. I'm in.
  9. I'm will be one once I get my M4 put back together. I have the SRO waiting on the sidelines. I would be down to buy a tool for this if the price is reasonable.
  10. Tango is usually awesome. I’m not trying to spread any hate towards them. I’m just trying to figure out what happened. I know the stocks can have some marks out of the box but I don’t think I would have over looked ALL of these.
  11. I reached out to them. Typically they are pretty responsive. I wonder about the exchange. That's not what they indicate on the website but one has to wonder. That turnaround time was almost too quick to believe. I know they were fast when I send the forearm in but not this fast.
  12. I wiped it down with a mild cleaner and then hit it with an oiled rag. Marks are still there....... I'm sure your foregrips will be fine. Less real estate to booger up.
  13. So, it appears my poor luck with anything Benelli continues. LOL Let's just say anything I've tried to do with my M4 in the last 6 months hasn't worked out so great. Today I received my field stock back from Tango Arms. I sent it in for a stippling job and it came back in record time which is amazing. I shipped it last Wednesday and it's back today. The stippling looks and feels great. Although, I do wish they squared off the edges of the stippling instead of following those "Western" like Benelli grip lines that the stock has from the factory. Definitely not a deal breaker though. This is my problem. The stock came back with all kinds of marks all over it. I know you get a few over time but this stock was brand new right out of the box. Now it looks like a used stock. It looks like they dragged tools over it. Or it was marked up from a vice it was being held in while they stippled. I do know that these stocks mark easily. One or two marks I wouldn't have batted and eye. However, it has several marks all over both sides. I didn't have this issue when the did the forearm. Then again I sent them in a FFT version. I have to wonder with the ultra fast return on this, did they send me back a different stock than the one I sent in? I'm not really happy about this. I packed it very, very well when I shipped it so I don't believe that it happened in transit. When they sent it back they did a reasonable packing job as well. My Benelli woes seem to continue.
  14. How does the muted match with the NP3?
  15. Sorry but I’ve decided to keep the forearm. Everyone gave me way too much time to reconsider. Lol I’m surprised that no one pounced on it from the get go.
  16. I received a box of presents this afternoon. A bunch of items came back from NP3 plating. I’m particularly pleased with the look of the M4 KZ charging handle. This might be the go too but I still need to test it. I like the knurl on the ends and it still maintains a close to OEM look. Here it is next to the OEM CH.
  17. I think I may take a field stock and send it off to Tango Arms for stippling. I think it will look sweet, match my Tango stippled forearms and add some purchase/grip.
  18. I've tried the Urbino, the length and feel are nice. For me, I didn't particularly care for the the way it attaches to the recoil tube. I'm also not a huge fan of that plastic spacer it uses between the receiver and stock. Just one man's experience. I know a lot more people like them than dislike them.
  19. I agree with how it feels and your point about having more control.
  20. I agree, the field stock ergos are ok for me personally. I feel that the PG is more solid, controllable and stable. Although if it was an inch shorter it would be better. It's tough to give up capacity just to have the PG. I was leaning in this direction but I think you all are making me come to my senses.
  21. The only way I could pull off a collapsible is if I bought one and pinned it. Then again I'd still be limited to a 5 round tube (pistol grip).
  22. Yeah, it sucks. I would have probably moved out of state and had a new job by now if it wasn't for the Corona bug killing the economy.
  23. Over 5 round capacity in a semi auto shotgun the PG stock is a no go. I would have to use a non pistol grip stock (field stock) to increase capacity in a semi auto shotty..
  24. I'm on the fence but I have to make a choice because of lovely state laws. I always want capacity but I prefer the purchase and feel of the PG stock. Tough call for me.
