The nut holding the front sight strips easily. I replaced the sight on 1 of my M4's that was stripped and loose from the factory. A replacement nut was $7 + not including shipping. You will also need a 5.5 mm mini wrench, this is the one I used: https://www.amazon.com/Acu-Min-51-1836-Wrench-millimeter-Overall/dp/B004W8D7LU/ref=mp_s_a_1_29?crid=9NTJFCA6XXXA&keywords=accu-min+5.5+mm+wrench&pscroll=1&qid=1648482518&sprefix=accu-min+5.5+mm+wrench%2Caps%2C342&sr=8-29&wIndexMainSlot=25

I can, but give me a few days, I'm on the road right now.

I ordered one of these, got it today and it's very nice. It doesn't really look like a gun case which is what I wanted, very non-descript. I am going to put a couple LaCrosse patches on it as it's my new "racquet case", lol; hidden in plain sight! Made in the U.S.A. is a bonus as well.

Not all shot shells are the same length either. I've found Fetter 00 buck (from Russia) are slightly shorter than normal and will fit 7 in a 7 round mag. Here in Texas Academy Sports is selling the 25 round boxes for $16.99 ($.68 a round) which is a pretty good deal; they all go bang so far.

What three guns would you take into battle/survival situations

Oh, I'd take whatever presented itself at the moment, I was just looking at it as a "what if" exercise. -

Well, I assume I'm in a SHTF situation at that point, if it shoots, it gets used. -

This is a interesting thread. I think I would take the Benelli M3, over a pound lighter than the M4 and semi auto or pump if it gets super fouled. An AK 74 chambered in 5.56 for the simplicity and ammo availability in the U.S. and a 9mm pistol, again, due to readily available ammo. I do have all 3. Let's just hope it remains all speculation. -
Buy it direct from Wolff, I don't remember what shipping was but it wasn't $16. I usually get a 5 pack, the ship cost is pretty much the same. https://www.gunsprings.com/index.php

Understandable, yes I am signed up. I am in a bellwether occupation and things are going to skyrocket very soon, they have to. FJB & FJT

Want a great pistol case you can leave in your car that no one will bother? Get the fruitiest child's lunchbag you can find at Walmart, put a piece of tape on it with Timmy or Joanie written on it. No one will break in for that! Lol, I'm giving away all my secrets...
-
I like, "hidden in plain sight". I have a Shockwave case that I put embroidered patches on; they read, "Love, Peace & Clarinet". I think I'll get a clarinet pin or two for it as well. Do I play clarinet? No, but the implication is there. With a bit of creativity you could easily disguise this bag, I'm seriously considering getting one, thanks for posting it!

That is a nice case. I really like the "coffin-style" opening, where the lid flips open without weight on it. I have a Viktos case like that and it's really a nice feature.

Feedback? Ok! $118 each + shipping? Deal! I'll take 2, that's a reasonable price to replace a plastic part that holds the WHOLE freakin' gun together! No ribs is fine by me as well, I like unique and just bare titanium, it's a pleasant color. Any ballpark estimate on delivery time?
-
So, what kind of timeline are you looking at for these Robb? (tapping fingers)
-
Again, no offense was meant.
-
Wow... no offense but that's super anal retentive, lol, for something like that I just find a shade of lacquer nail polish and call it good. It doesn't have to be an EXACT match, but that's just me; no one would ever know anyway.
-
Correct, an 11 gram gain over OEM with a huge gain in durability of a critical part; it is, after all, holding the gun together. Well worth it IMO, I'd take two.
-
The difference between the titanium and polymer and is 11g and 19g vs aluminum. Those are negligible to me for a big increase in durability; my vote is for titanium.
-
Well, keep us posted on what you find, I was seriously considering getting one and am curious if damage after limited use is common, thanks!

Reading these comments, y'all just talked me out of a 1301.

https://www.blitzkriegcomponents.com/benelli-shotgun-sight-posts.html Is the front sight, the rear I am not sure of.

I'd rather have raw Ti than all black or OEM color.

First time shooting Slugs, impact is all over the place (New M4)

Yea, if you stretched the range out to 50 yards you'd have some misses but at 15 yards any one of those is "graveyard dead". -
2 as well
